Voter for Android
While I was hoping to receive the voter I supported, I instead received Jill Stein. However, the reasons it gave for the results made a lot of sense. While I am not changing my mind, because Hillary was second on the list and because I think third parties are wasting a vote at this point, I think this app is a great source of unbiased information.
Yeah, they already do. It's a law already. If you dont then you are breaking the law. Ban assault weapons? They already are. Assult weapon is a military term and there are no private sector assult weapons except those fully semi automatic guns.
Which candidate actually represents your views? This year (2016) has a lot of people rethinking party labels. If you're looking to get deeper than sound bites & scandals, "Voter" is not a bad way to start digging into some of the issues as stake in American politics.
I looked into each of the questions, candidates and parties to see if the questions and policies match the apps. It was very unbiased and if taken serious make you think and appreciate the decisions made in making those policies. Overall good and an excellent tool for this year's election, hopefully it continues to get better, stays unbiased and updated with current events like it did this election cycle. Good job devs! Keep up the good work!
I learned new things about myself just from using this app. Never thought my views predominately matched the green party of all parties.
It is easy, and a great app. I think it would be great to expand the capacity of the app to cover pressing issues that are being reviewed, voted on etc. by all branches of our government, and also perhaps issues that are going on at the state level, for each state. Keep up the good work!!!
Quite an excellent app don't get me wrong, but I do feel like adjustments could be made, like instead of seeing just 3 things a particular politician agrees/disagrees with me on, I'd like to see a full list of both agreements/disagreements. I'd also like to review my answers to questions I'm asked and be able to change them later in case I change my mind.
I love that all the info. is there to be read by all, and without the bullcrap that the media trys to sway your thoughts to about certian canidates. Good job devs.
What the heck am i saying yes to? Not everyone is a mindless imbecile. Show me first what i am voting for... pffrrrttt
The whole family participated, it was interesting to see how different opinions matched up to politicians. Very useful tool for an election year.
Helps you make an informed decision based on your views on what matters not the candidates personal issues or gender. Should be required to vote.
Was hoping for more in-depth info.
Jill Stein 2016
Cool concept, bad design.
Huh
USA only
Informative
I am possibly the most liberal person I know and a lot of my friends are either uneducated about what their stances mean, or parrot pro-trump and/or anti-hillary things they hear. I handed to a few of them and most of them were actually pretty liberal!
Not news, but it did properly assess who I'd pick as a presidential candidate. If it included House and Senate picks it would be really interesting. Like a few others, I have no interest in tying this to my Facebook account - it'd be nice to have an email option that would be a little less invasive from an information sharing perspective. It's an excellent idea but to me it feels like it comes up short with the narrow scope - i'll keep checking in over the next month or two...
Many people do not and will never use a pos like Facebook. With no other way to create an account even the oxygen used to create this app was wasted. Sad as i really liked the concept and was looking forward to using it.
Please change the wording on the climate change question. I don't believe there is a climate change, your question implies that there is.
On the screen where it mentions Facebook, look at the bottom it gives you the option to not use Facebook. The some of the questions don't have neutral wording. For example "Why aren't you on fire? Instead of "Do you believe you should be on fire?"
Great app, great accuracy if you know your issues..no maybe option.. But it's pretty amazing!
Don't necessarily agree but it's great app to use if your unsure who to vote for or who is running
Works great, how do I see senate and ingress and governors? I heard that on POTUS last week.
I'm just doing this to be annoying.
Would be great if this would expand to show state results as well
This is great, but it would be better with House and Senate nominees as well.
Needs to include Senators, Governors, etc.
The questions are great! And the accuracy is on target! I recommend this app for the entire nation! Vote smart!
aeesome app. fast. seems accurate
Love it
horrible one sided unless you like garbage fox so called news.
Great, easy to understand functionality, unfortunately only useful for USA politics. Would love to see expansions to other countries
Try iCitizen instead.
heard you on the BBC
Add more US parties and more people.
I refuse to make a Facebook account. There needs to be an additional identity option like Twitter, or LinkedIn

This app is well made. It allows you to answer questions in a yes/no format to help you decide which candidate more closely matches with your views. All questions come with description data and several reasons why someone would vote either way for the question. Very informative!
