About FundFind
FundFind for small businesses displays publicly available United States government loan/grant/tax incentive/venture capital information that can be easily search based on various criteria (Federal vs State, Grant vs Loan, Industry, etc...). Ideal for small businesses that need money. Uses the SBA Loan Grants API to get funds.
Instructions:
- Select Federal funds and/or State funds options. To select Federal, turn on the switch under Federal. To select a State, turn on the switch under State and select a State under the State dropdown.
- Select one or more Industries. Every fund is either associated with one of the Industries under the Industries section or has no Industry (N/A). N/A industries will always show up in search results.
- Select on or more fund types. Every fund is associated with one of the funds under the Types section.
- (Optional) Select Specialties. There are a number of specialties some funds apply to. By default all are turned off but you can use the filters to narrow down your search if, for example, you only want to see funds specifically for the Disabled. (Multiple specialties are OR'd)
Once you get your search results, click on them to get a detailed view. Save them by clicking the checkbox in the top right.
View saved funds on the main screen by swiping left or clicking on the Saved Items tab header.
2.0 UPDATE:
Complete overhaul of the main search UI. Much more user friendly and less overwhelming to the user. Also fixed search results. The SBA API that was used before to search by states wasn't working so had to use a different API call.
