LED Flashlight Selene & FLASH

(TLDR: Ended up deleting due to functionality of the app. My Samsung has a torch Widget which is practically the same as this app and also you can change the brightness via the notification bar. App is not necessary.) App does what it says. However strobe mode is weak and needs to provide either a better selection in terms of strobe options and speed, or allow the user to select a custom speed. Found that ads were showing on my phone even though the app was closed in full, however disabled flashlight to only work with the app open and that seemed to stop the ads while closed. Considering the apps functionality, this is something that I can simply access via a Widget on my phone for my torch, without having to download this app. From your previous responses it seems you need to pay a lot of people. If you wanna make that money, you need more functionality and right now, there are far better apps on the market that can provide more options and functions than this app.

Installed anyways even after bad reviews.. Turn the light on close the app and use it to do what ever you needed the flashlight for.. Why are you people complaining of ads.. Shouldn't be looking at the screen. Should be looking at whatever your pointing the flashlight at... Good bright light.. Ads aren't bothersome and that's the only way you get it free

Added advertising to my lock screen after charging. Went away after I uninstalled it! I can understand and accept ads within the otherwise free application, but not ads that take over your phone when the app is closed. Especially when you're not told where the ads are coming from and you have to delete apps one by one to find out.

If you like popup ads every 30 seconds on your phone then download this app. It took me awhile to figure out which app was doing it and I can't believe it's this stupid flashlight app do not install this

Heard alot about ads but no one really tends to listen to why they are even there. They are there for the company designing they app and making improvements to it not just for free. The ads are there to help pay the companies OK guys. But a review like this wouldn't hurt. ''4.7 due to quality of the light and adjustments along with it but only one small complaint just reduce the ads but a few at a time'' that's what they need. The reviewers are not kidding. There are a lot of hats. Anytime you do anything on this app, an ad will pop up. This is not useful for me. I sure wanted to like it and use it, but it would be as annoying as anything. I found that out in less than 2 minutes.

It's great, I don't have any problems with the ads. My only suggestion would be to some how add a dull white back ground function for wiping off the screen.

It is a suitable app for light because when I am using this no need to worry about its on and off like other apps which gone off automatically when screen of mobile sleeps.

Tested 3 different apps, this one was clearly the most annoying of them all... The full screen ad that shows up every time you click in an option, to the point I didn't even bother exploring any further the app and uninstall it. Oh, what about disabling ads? yes, its there but you got to pay for something other apps do for free and are less "sketchy" with all the ads. Sure, the app is pretty but its full of ugly on the inside.

Warning: After each time you shut it off, an insanely loud add plays. Not good for being quiet. ????

It was good, but after recent updates heating issues are there. Will download another ad free flashlight app.

Works very well, lots of options. Ads are not at all bothersome. Can't see them anyway when I'm looking where the light is aimed. ????

This helped me one time I got stuffed in a locker so I used this and the security guard got me out thank you for this flashlight it's the best

Well, another "easy money" ad-bloated freemium. What happened to the normal ads that were displayed at the bottom of the screen while the app was in use? I suppose those weren't good enough? What boggles my mind is why you would place a restrictive ad BEFORE allowing the app to perform its function! It can be safe to assume that I'm activating a FLASHLIGHT function because I cannot see, and you place a bloody ad BEFORE I can turn the flashlight on!? You are literally putting an advertisement BEFORE the PRIMARY FUNCTION of your application?? My mind is literally on the verge of total meltdown over the naked greed this demonstrates! Oh, but I can turn the ads off... for $0.99. So you offer a grossly crippled product at no charge, then have the audacity to demand money to make it work properly? No. I'll go pay an honest developer for their product. This cash cow of laziness will get bled out just like the rest.

This is the best flashlight app in the Google Play Store. There's no ad's. It has great features and it works well.

This torch is usefull...selective kind a thing and most of all Distress signal...this is the most usefull BUT THERE ARE TOO MANY AD'S....ADs shows in every time,and anytime.its anoying...fix it.its not important to be in this..so i will give only three star!!if you want it all...remove the ads that shows whenever it like and want to prompt it up..ITS ANOYING

Series of strobe flash settings and SOS setting flash as well. Setting 0 is regular flashlight and works well. Off and on when I want. Thank you. Boss job!

Turns on immediately and has other features I probably won't use but I'm glad they're there. Paid to remove ads, worth it.

A trojan horse for ads. Look for a flashlight app that only requires permission to access your camera, which is necessary to turn on/off the camera flash.
