Sound Meter - Decibel

Don't be fooled. Don't install apps that require more permissions than normal! Why such a mere sound metering app would require permissions to my storage photos and device ID and phone calls?????? Unacceptable! Looked for other better less intrusive app! Found one... Unistalling this one.

It lets me know how loud my wife gets and that I need to eradicate her.

I live in a studio apartment and don't want to bother the neighbors. I try to keep it below 70 DB and haven't had any complaints since!

Excellent device for measuring sound in specific areas. Has variety of means for viewing data taken in each sample showing min, max and average noise levels measured in a given sample. Very useful tool.

Now I have an idea just how noisy the world is around me, whether inside or out. This is a very easy to read and accurate app. I like having the pause button.

Seems to be a sensitive meter but the ads are horrible they actually have one saying your phone is too slow and it needs to be cleaned. But hey it's free and it works well just don't click on any ads

I'm a musician, and concerned about mine and others' hearing. It's a great tool to make sure I'm not being too loud while rehearsing, as well as monitoring everyday sound pollution.

It's unusable! The adds are constantly on the screen making it dark and not giving view to the app. Tryed closing, opening, closing the add with the x, they ask why I don't want to see that add and then show another. It's harassment!

10 stars. Perhaps the best apps presentation all in one place. Simple, yet accurate with practical options. Great!

I use it for band rehearsals to check for consistent sound levels. It's easy to use and simple. The dark option is my preferred setting.

Totally Useless, my fan low speed had same dB as high speed, dB on this app stays between 75 dB - 81 dB no matter how loud it is, fake app

Nice clean interface. Quiet levels seem high on the meter but overall its easy to use . I cannot compare as its the only one I've tried
