Compass

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's a bit glitchy sometimes, but it usually sorts itself out after it's been running for a while. I don't use my phone like other folks. I only use it as a media player and to run handy apps like Stellarium, etc. I don't even have a SIM card. I use this app with only the phone's GPS -- no WiFi, no cell tower connection, no Bluetooth and I get no ads. I figure the glitches I get are just due to being too close to other things that affect the magnetic field around me and me being in bad places for GPS signal reception. Perhaps an update to my phone or to this app will make it better, but I still think this app deserves 4 to 5 stars since it fits me almost perfectly.

Perfect. Bought a new car with no compass. After getting disorientated in our new town I downloaded 3 others before deciding on this as the quickest, smoothest, most accurate and coolest looking!

Couldn't get it to point north. Rotating and then pointing in the same direction gave randomly different headings. Useless as a compass really.

Showing "high accuracy" with minimal interference the compass was all over the place and settling about 90-120* off mag. North. Utterly useless. Samsung S8+

I have Moto G 2nd gen. Easy install, not much RAM used, simple easy to use. The number of ads reasonable for a free ap.

Gives all the information I would want, including altitude, true North, level...plus a very convenient link to Google maps. Easy to use. Also looks very good. I'd pay to get rid of the adds.

Seems more accurate than some others I have tried and responds quickly to change of direction.Good graphics and very useful status information on sensors and call ration.

USELESS All I get when I open this compass is a message that says no magnetic compass found have unnstalled. This is the second compass app that will NOT work for me

I love this app cause it will always show me what direction Jerusalem is, so I know which way to face and pray if I'm at work or away from home.

I can't believe that I used to spend a lot of money on compasses and this app is light years ahead of what we had.

Compass is fine, but wanted to use it with my kids to go orienteering, and there are far too many adverts for Russian brides. Uninstalled, sadly...

I rally like it. It's perfect for my job I'm a truck driver. When I want to know for sure which way to go. I just open this app and I'm good

They should show a picture of the main screen with 1/3 of the screen covered with and add, Very misleading.

Works good so far. Notice the speed is in km/h, tried to switch to mph but didn't see how or if you could

A great app, no matter what you do. Or where ever you live. It's nice to get your bearing, once in awhile. Quickly.

Just now installed it... It is showing the exact direction right now... Only time will tell the accuracy... Seems a gr8 app

Quick and easy to set up. I like the way it gives your bearing so you don't have to make the phone align North/South

Solid compass app. Good calibration info and instructions. Integration with GPS and Maps. Needs a paid option to eliminate ads. Easily worth a buck.

Gives wrong direction each time.. even tried checking with location on.. still the issue

Had to calibrate it but once that was completed it works great. Not sure if I would depend on it totally but time will tell

Appears to be very accurate. I also like the simple, built-in level. That works great too.

Very nice face and easy to understand and read. Highly accurate readings that can depend on, very efficient and proficient.

More accurate than other apps. Not infallible so ignore way out readings.

I don't have a compass in my truck so this comes in handy.

Great app always on hand when you need it and as it's on the phone it's easy to see as well.

When I am lost in space and my map tells me go north or south, my compass is sure to always help

Great compass. Amazing that a phone has GPS sensors that can work this well. Better than a magnetic compass, and other compass apps I tried. Highly recommended.

Very nice digital compass. Calibrate well and stay away from other magnetic sources for good results.

Not only a compass, but also a water level. I have no real use for it, but still like it.

Great to have in your pocket so you can use it to shut people up who don't have a clue what they're talking about.

Easier than other apps to calibrate. Nice simple display. Nothing too fancy just what I needed.
