Medical ID - ICE Contacts

Bought Pro version to support developer. The additional features of the pro version are largely useless to me - the first aid section is just ads for American Red Cross courses, the compass wildly inaccurate (other dedicated compass apps work fine) and the local hospital feature just does a Google search which throws up all sorts of vaguely health related results. So why do I rate it 5* - it gives a clear easily accessible emergency page from the lock screen, is easy to use and looks good. If you want to support the developer buy the Pro version, otherwise stick with the free version as you won't get anything extra that is useful other than multiple profiles.

I just installed the app but am unable to access it from my lockscreen. Is it because my phone is too old? It's a Samsung Galaxy S4. Thanks. I clicked on the floating icon and now it works. Changed my rating to 5 stars. Love the app

Very useful keeping track of all my meds to report changes to different doctors I have to see.

Great idea & a simple app to use. Originally looking for something for my mum's phone so first responders knew who to contact if she was in a serious accident so my dad who's disabled wouldn't be left at home alone. Decided to use it myself.

As I get older I use it more. I really don't like the bracelets so I have it on the front of my phone.

Very helpful and easy to use. It is easily accessible from the lock screen. The app also lets you store medical info for family members in an easily accessible way.

Love this app

Places your emergency information exactly where it should be: right in the middle of your lockscreen, where it can be quickly and easily accessed by emergency responders: when even seconds must not be wasted. Double-tap the notification and all your critical information is right there, easily readable. Highly recommended!

OK, I'll have to complain here since I can't get an email to the program author thru the contact web site I got with my receipt for purchase, nor directly as it apparently doesn't have me as a user. Problem 1: Double tapping the floating icon to open my medical info work occasionally and sporadically. Problem 2: thought it was supposed to link directly to my ICE contacts. It doesn't.

Good app, everyone has a cellphone why not have all medical ID on it .

So reassuring to know my info can be seen if needed.

Need to be able to add more profiles. I do not have myself in it as I have four children and I want them to come first since I can't add more than four.

It is just what I was looking for and needed never had any problems with this app ☺ one small suggestion on the donor section an opt out of certain body parts like eyes etc but great app thanks ☺

So far seems good ! I just loaded this a couple of days ago and set it up with emergency information which is easy to do. The only thing I might change is a contact field where the phone number is called by activating the number while in the app.

Same review as for the free version. I bought the pro version purely for the ability to add some additional text instructions to the lock screen. Very good. It only falls a little short of what I wanted so gets the five stars. It allows for access either to your lock screen or to your emergency medical information (including direct dial up to selected contacts). Your medical information can be separately password protected if you want to keep it private. You can also add an instruction as to where on your person the password can be found in an emergency.

Its work well other than the contact phone numbers are not always working I am very impressed how fast they fixed my problem.

It's supposed to appear on my lock screen but It's only there intermittently and been missing now for days and I cannot see a way of remedying it manually. Not much good if it cannot be accessed in an emergency.

It serves my purpose of providing some information to whom it may concerned in case of emergency and in case of Lost & Found on the lock screen.

In case of emergency it is my belief this app is useful.

App power saver settings must be changed otherwise when your phone battery is low it will close this app ! Happened to realise this after a few frustrating times it had stopped without any notice. Would like another field for any other information that might prove helpful such as indicating that I care for a vulnerable disabled relative.

I love knowing I have not only my health information readily available for emergency situations, but can also have it for my mother.

App is good idea and mostly works well but when I send the emergency text message it does not give the location. I have location services on. Also same problem as Mark Denning in that it doesn't stay running in the background for more than a few minutes

Good design but doesn't stay running in background. Defeats purpose of appearance on lock screen. Latest version fixed my problem. App is working perfectly now.
