Theni Maranatha

According to the perfect will of God, through Pastor Joseph Balachandran, the Church was established and handed over to Pastor E. Lawrence on 9th June in the year of 1972. " MARANATHA WORSHIP CENTRE" started its journey with one family as believers and is now one of the fastest growing churches in Theni. This Church is under " Maranatha Full Gospel Association",Chennai.

In the early years, this church faced many oppositions and threats by the people who did not know the Love of God. But in the midst of all these hinderances, this Church started growing more faster than ever before by the Abundant Grace of God. At present it is filled with Faithful Pastors and believers with the thirst for proclaiming Gospel and the eagerness to hear the Word of God. This is the unique reason for its growth and withstanding.

The People those who gather here to worship, are built together on Jesus Christ, the foundation of the Church. Everyone of them strongly believes that " BY GRACE THUOUGH FAITH " is the root for salvation and fruitful Christian living. Every believer has experienced Holiness in their Spirit, Soul, and Body. Believers enjoy the Freedomis in Christ, and are enlarged by the prosperity given by God in their day today life.

Not only the Pastors , but also the believers who are having burden for the souls have united their hands in proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom everyday through a local television channel. The younger generation is guided to put their trust in the Lord through Sunday school and youth ministries. Young moms are gathering every week and seeking the face of God with Prayers, Intercessions, and Thanks Givings.

In addition, it is also interested in doing Social works with joy and gladness. Through this the Love Of Jesus Christ reaches in and around Theni.
