Packet Capture

Captures Packets. That's about all it does well. Doesn't give any information on what devices the traffic is going to/from, just the associated outside address. What if I want to know where data is moving INSIDE my network? Super unintuitive, setup is left entirely up to the user to already know how the app works without using it before. How am I to know what these green triangles are for, and which does what?

Fantastic app, works great! Love to see packet filter expressions (e.g. to capture only matching packets) and/or a search function in the data viewer. Trying to find specific data currently means lots of manual scrolling. Also a folding tree for viewing structured data would be cool! Would pay for an add-on premium version.

Works perfectly. Much easier than trying to set up some mitm to on the network. But you probably dont want to install this onto your main device

It's good. There is an app filter now. I would like to be able to download a whole recording session instead of individual packets. Where is the data saved?

Does what it says, but some apps report no network connection with this running. Also, requests to Google's ad network show up in captures, so I'm guessing these are from the ads shown by this app itself.

I appreciate that individual packets can be saved as pcap files, but would like the ability to save all packets from a session to one pcap file as well.

Didn't work on nexus 5x running 8.1 When open the inspected app there's no internet connection

Very nice app to sort IPV4 packets by application. As others mentioned it would be helpful to be able to export entire captures as a pcap file and also to capture UPD packets. I find it a very useful tool (and one of the best) to monitor connections of specific apps.

It doesn't actually capture the packets...the apps try to send out data but this app stops it and does not actually save the data for examination. Needs to be rebuilt and analyzed again.

Question to developer: it does not capture some apps (like Snapchat, Messenger...) just says "no data". Why, is this a bug?

Capture data from selected app didn't work in KitKat ( app filter loop in loading apps List )

The VPN interface used for the capture doesn't support IPv6 so it is not a realistic capture.

Why some other apps stopped working when I started recording?

Nice app! Seems to be working well so far.

Works for some apps but not all, tried to contact the developer for help or info but no reply in 3 weeks so this app seems like a fire and forget.

Can't record udp packets and can only export one packet unit at a time to .pcap.

Excellent app. My only suggestion is to offer an IAP to remove the ads - I'd happily pay for this.
