Fast Messenger

I thought this was an alternative client for Facebook Messenger. Turns out it's a chat app for meeting people nowhere near me.

No paid version & notifications edit: What I ment with notifications was, as does official Facebook Messenger app show a bubble notification of a new message and having that persons photo as an icon, this app as none form of notifying the user that a message was sent.

I can no longer go back to fb wallpage when I click on something and want to go back. It closes the app completely.

Where are the chat heads and why no theme options?

First of all it takes to long to load and it don't do half the things y'all say it does don't make an app and say it does somethin it don't. Second of all I have ppl to talk to asap and the regular messenger app sucks also and wen I log into Facebook on he internet it doesn't work and brings me to this page. Maby is u fix all these problems you would have higher raitings. That's all I have to say so have a nice rest the day and night.

Assolutamente inutile. It is just a facebook browser page put into an app, you call "Messenger", plus other absolutely not requested useless features. Do not make people waste their time. Time is precious, and your app is crap. Same was for your Fast for crap Facebook (it initally was a real app, but later you transformed it into a skam horrible browser pages put into an app with ads), Spend your time coding css instead of make fake apps and make people waste their time. I updated my review as requested.

I have no idea how to use this, can't add or even find my friends, and there's no help section for faqs or any guidance. I don't even get the point of this app's existence if I can't find my friends to message them...

As of yesterday, messaging won't work. Facebook appears intent on making everyone use their bloated "messaging" app. The rest of Facebook will still work however.

nope. *edited it doesn't open.. Crashes every time I try to launch it. I have a OnePlus Two running Android version 5.1.1 and OxygenOS version 2.2.1

For your information, oneplus 2 oxygen os 2.2.1 is stock android 5.1.1 not a custom rom, that's like saying Samsung touchwiz is a custom rom too

Worked yesterday and this morning now it just says download fb messenger. Uninstalling

Come on! Can't even reply to a message! I can see my Facebook Messenger messages, but there is no text field to reply. And this app is app so ad heavy that I dare not press various buttons trying to find a way to reply. Fail!

So I was looking for a replacement for my Facebook and FB messenger apps for they drained my battery life soooo fast. I found this app and thought my desires have been fulfilled, for it seemed like a lightweight, material design FB messenger. Shortly after logging in however, I was greeted to "No Conversations" I was sure that I had a bunch, including an ongoing group chat for over a few months. Needless to say, I was disappointed. I think this app has potential, just needs to port over past conversations and if there could be a way to get rid of the ads (99 cent purchase?) I would be able to recommend this app to friends and use it as my daily driver. Sadly, it misses the mark.

I'm looking for a 3rd party Facebook messenger app. Due to recent changes with Facebook, you're not going to find ANY real alternatives to the official Messenger app. This app, Fast Messenger, does what it says, but it has what I consider intrusive ads. Aside from it's other features, the FB aspect is just a weak browser based Facebook messenger. Still, it has other features, but they're not for me.

FAST FOR FACEBOOK IS ONE OF THE BEST WAYS TO VEIW FACEBOOK ON LINE AND IT IS A WAY OF LIFE WITH A NEW AND MAYBE BETTER WAY TO VIEW FACEBOOK FOR SOME AND YOU JUST HAVE TO LOVE IT.I RECOMMEND THIS APP FOR GROIN UPS PEOPLE THAT ARE MATURE.

What a JOKE! Absolutely useless app with tons of adds and nothing to do with FB messenger. P.S. tons of Adds AND usless functions (none related to FB).

I like the idea. But, on this app and Fast you cant see what your typing? If this was fixed I love them both.

Developer this application is very misleading. Only way to view messenger to basically pull up a your regular fb. All you apps is doing putting a link to view what can already see in fb. Also notification don't work either because messages don't pop-up as you said.
