Private DIARY Pro - Personal journal

So far pretty much what I was looking for - after trying a boat load of apps. It's very well designed, so far no hickups, a clean interface and most importantly weather and position integration. The only other thing I would like to ask for is integration with apps like Runtastic or Google phones, letting you seamlessly integrate calls and work outs - All part of a diary now, isn't it? Great work though. Fantastic job!

The best journaling diary I have tried so far. But I have two issues with it: The web interface does not allow you create an entry for a day other than today - you cannot select the date for an entry. Very limiting. My second issue is just a wish for rich text or html editing.

A good App which have been very pleased with in the pass apart from a few small problems which I thought had all been sorted. Sorry, but it has now lost a star. On my Samsung tablet I keep getting a message that I have no internet connection, when in fact I have. Sometimes it synchronises anyway, but only after several tries. It's a pity as this is a good App.

I have been using this for many years now. I have at times tried others, because I thought exporting data could not be read by other apps, but Microsoft Word can read it good, except weather data and location.

Nice piece of code mate, bought it long ago and totally forgot about it! LOL. UPDATE: 3/19/18 Love it even more after reinstalling on new cell & finding that it has fingerprint access. The BEST diary app out there.

Great apps from this developer. And very big pity he is not programming anymore. More developers like this are needed.

I'm trying to see my photos that I uploaded with my entries but can't see them only text.

Great app!... but would like to be able to download in more editable format besides stringed text in notepad...

Perfect diary. Loved it at first install. Reliable as used daily for years. Recently with fingerprint unlock. Works great. Kudos to developer.

Simple and elegant , does what it says...however, web interface and sync needs improvements for getting 5*

There is no export option. PDF or txt format...

The application wasn't opened after the update. When I want to lock app and set the password software gives me error. "Unfortunately, Private Diary has stopped."

And I DONT WANT this app to start at boot. NOT UPDATING.

Download/updates won't work

Developer does not respond anymore so use app at your own risk. No update since 2014. Now totally useless to me. Dropbox used for sync wrote to me, the app requires updating so now sync does not and cannot work. With over 2000 entries I am very angry. Do not waste your time and money on this app. Switching to Diaro.

I have been using this app for more than a year. While it is very simple in functions and appearance, I would suggest editing the app to offer the user more freedom to change privacy/general settings. For example, all most all my entries have "Car" as a tag. I have not been able to figure out how to change it without deleting the entire entry. I have over 120 entries, most of which are more than 400 characters. Other wise, I really enjoy this app and the stress relief it provides me with.

I think that this is an absolute brilliant app and wood put it as the best, I have been using it for a while now. However, I have a PC Journal app that I have been using for a few years now and I want to move the journal entries into the app journal. Yes you can slide the entries from PC to App using the PC Private Diary program, but unfortunately the only way of adding previous dates in is to go onto my phone put the dates in and then once it is on the PC Diary. I would of given 5 stars but for this loss

I am absolutely furious that I can no longer see all my important entries after I updated my Sony z2 phone. I have tried to get them back via a website but it doesn't recognise me. I think I had paid for private diary pro. Developer please sort this out.

I have been trying to get in touch with these people about resetting my password so I can sync my diary to my new phone but no one answered me! And when I tried to reset it online I never got the reset code in my email! Useless!

Have had this app for quiet some time & absolutely love it. It is, hands-down one of my favorite paid for apps. No matter what phone I have (had a Note 2 for years, now on Note 5) I will always have this app. Thank-you!

When I try to sync with my phone I get this: "Sorry. Please update app from Google Play Market. It is necessary for correct sync". But I've the latest version, what is the problem? Disappointed. If I knew, I wouldn't buy pro version

Everything was going well until I tried to make an entry to my diary and it locked me out! It won't accept my password and it won't accept the answer "secret question". Plus, there is no contact information to fix the problem! Very frustrating!

After I changed my phone I tried to sync but it keeps telling me invalid username or password. No mechanism for password reset and I have tried to reset my username in vain. Most importantly there is no response to the emails I sent!!

Suits my needs just fine. One thing I would like are cute little weather symbols. Sun, cloud, rain, storm, windy. I appreciate the way you have the weather on there but it just has for the moment. Some days it's sunny, rainy and stormy all in one day.

Hi de ho oh awesome developers. I absolutely love your Private Diary app. After squandering too many bucks on similar apps, yours ticks every box and the gui is spot on.

Used to love this app, it's sort of useless now that I can't sync old entries. Asks me to update when there's no update available. Got back to using the free version. Hasn't been updated for ages, seems like devs dropped it.

I like this style of journal for mood notations and taking time to draw near to God with praises. Easy to jort down how my day is going. Being able to add pics is a nice feature. Did not garner 5* because I was disappointed that the paid app was so limited in emoticons, offering the exact same amount as the free. It would also be nice to record entries on those lazy days but mainly I would like to see some expansion in the emoticons available. Then It would be 5*'s for me. I do recommend this app.

They don't reply to your email. Support service, there is no support. Their disgusting. They don't give a sh** about us their customers, who makes their app successful.
