CallTrack for Android
I had a dispute with a business over when I had returned a storage unit. I was able to point him to the calendar with the call log of his number and it jogged his memory of when it was returned. Great app - set it and forget it. causes no issues and always works.
Worked great for years but recently (after a factory reset on a phone that it used to work on) stopped tracking the full call time. Each call appears as only a minute long regardless of actual length. It hasn't been updated in a long time, so not an update that broke it but I am not sure what else to do. Love it and maybe I can get it working again.
Used to work flawlessly on my LG but now on my Nexus 6p I'm getting multiple... and I mean 10 to 40! copies of calls logged on my google calendar. I don't trust Google calendar though (missing entrees that suddenly re-appear days later etc.) so I will still give three stars.
I use this app with the calendar in one of my gmail accounts in which the calendar isn't ever used for anything but this. This gives me a long historical record, a complete & easily referenced calendar of all my phone calls! If someone says I didn't make a needed call, I can prove that I did. I can check back to reference many things, it's amazing, unique, great!!
ever since i updated to ics, this app has included sms messages when creating the calendar events (and treats them as call logs). has anyone noticed that? i emailed the dev already but he hasn't replied yet.
I have used this on my captivate, s9100, s3, N4, and now Moto X 2014 on lollipop 5.1...still needs a donate version! First installed October 2010. I saw a review that someone had a problem with this app and inbox. I'm on Google inbox and this works. Does anyone know the Dev? He seems to have disappeared. I am using it with my Nexus 6P on the N dev preview and it still works. I live in fear that someday an Android update will break this fantastic app.
Love it. would be great if it also tracked calls made with google talk and google hangouts. Still getting 5 stars. It has saved me a couple times when someone said "I never talked to you" or "He never called me"
I'm using Calltrack for pretty long time and it's working seamlessly in Jelly Bean 4.1.2 also. Only thing I'd request the developer if the following options can be added: 1. The option for recording the call logs for separate SIM cards to separate calendars on Google for a DUAL SIM Mobile (as I'm using and cannot actually segregate it later when it's updated to Google). 2. It's not having the option to log the cancelled call as some of the phones doesn't recognise it as a received call / missed call. Hope the developer will pay attention to the above and make many more fans like me.
This app. does log calls into your Samsung and Google calander. The app. does provide different call colors for display on your calendar. However, the app. does not allow scheduling of call syncs. I have to remember to go into the app., then go into the app's menu then press the synch icon. The app, syncs fast and inputs it into the calander when you press the sync icon.
I use this background program all the time. It logs EVERY call I make, receive, and miss directly to my Google Calendar. It is fantastic. ***Need**** it has been almost 2 years since I started using this. It is still just as great.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for making CallTrack work on ICS. Have been using it for months on the Nexus S and it never even once failed to log a call. I really missed it after upgrading to the GN - so happy it works now. Did not notice any battery drain issues either.
Who needs NSA when you have this? Really though, great app! Puts history of your calls into the calendar. Very useful if you need it for tracking customer contacts and your phone log is a mile long.
I've been using this ever since it came out. It's awesome to be able to search my calendar (from multiple platforms) for phone calls I've made. Helpful for keeping track of billable calls too.
This used to be great but it has gotten really buggy since the developers haven't kept pace with new android versions and phones. Very unreliable now a days...
Used for 4 yrs. A must. Changed rating from 5 to 3 because it suddenly started recording texts as calls... Not desired.. With no option to stop it or separate them... Awaiting dev reply on this from an email... SG3
Switched from GS6 to Nexus 6p and now calls are showing double on the calendar. Sometimes they show just phone number for people who are definitely in my contacts. This was never a problem with GS6 on 5.1, but Nexus 6p with 6.0.1 definitely makes this app unusable.
I used this app pretty extensively after seeing it on Droid Lawyer. It was really great for keeping track of phone calls for all the doctor appointments, lawyer calls, etc. following my hit by a driver blinded by the light. Well, all of a sudden EVERYTHING is gone--all of the calls and notes. Went to look something up and it's all gone. Don't tecommend.
I used to love it but it has this habit of it just stops logging. I'm on Galaxy Note 3. . You don't find out until you need the log of a call and you find out it hasn't been logging for several days.
I have never had an issue. It puts everyone of my calls on the calendar, including the amount of time I was on the phone. This has been the first app I put on my phone whenever I upgrade.
This app helps me track client calls: time of call, call length, and identity or calling number. Small app, easy setup, does as it describes.
Crashes after every call since Lollipop update. It was working perfectly fine until then. Developer appears to have abandoned the app. Fix to get back the 5 star.
Forgot which calendar to sync to now have thousands of duplicate calendar entries. Each call now is 4 separate entries on the wrong calendar. LOTS OF CLEANUP TO DO. I liked it until now.
I was so excited about this app until i saw my call had a duration of "212 seconds"! I dont want to waste my time translating this to minut es! It destroys the whole point of the app for me as a time saving tool! Please fix this and then i will love you!!!
To get it to work again after google inbox I uninstalled, reinstalled, switched to a new calendar, synced full and it worked. New calls show up there as well. Working 100% again. Hopefully google doesn't break this again.

Works well tracking calls. To get 5 stars it could support multiple calendars and the duration of the events are the length of the call.
I love this app. It works without causing any problems. The only things I would change concern the ultimate usability of the information. For instance, the call duration is recorded in the calendar event (awesome), but reported in second (for billing, not awesome). Would it be possible to convert seconds to minutes and hours so the info in the calendar is more meaningful?

This app works so flawlessly it just feels like a feature of android. Been using it for 4years now without issue.
Great for logging my calls and those scenarios when I try and figure out which number is whose. android essential app - and one of the very few five star ratings I've handed out.
Used to work great until I accepted google's invite to inbox. As soon as I did that it stopped working. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. Checked out website and that looks dead. Sent email to dev and no response. Does anyone know an alternative to this application that still works post google inbox? I dont know what that did with my google account that this stopped working. Sms backup + still works just fine...
One of the simplest but useful apps out there. A must have for anyone who likes to keep track of their days.
This is a great app, and for its price (free) it is definitely a must-have one. I gave it a 4* instead of a 5* because I noticed that at some point it stopped syncing my calls and then I checked and it switched the selected calendar to another one (Weather) which is read-only anyway. I am guessing this is a small bug but it keeps me from giving a 5*.
Simple, effective - keep tabs on all calls & text times, superbly integrated into google calendar Ideally would label texts as such.
This app worked great on my DroidX. But since switching to the S3, I've noticed it is logging text messages as phone calls. Not the end of the world, but. definitely annoying...
Such a simple idea- logs all calls in and out to the Google calendar of your choice. I created a calendar just for this so I can see the calls color coded from other events on my calendar. I find this history way more useful than the default call history on my Drod Razr and former Droid Incredible.
This is a great, simple app that I haven't been able to find an alternative to, but it hasn't been updated in almost 3 years. That would be fine if it still worked perfectly, but it doesn't. If you have multiple calendars set up on Google Calendar, the app will sometimes change what calendar it syncs to for seemingly no reason. This has happened to me on two different devices now (HTC EVO 4G LTE and Moto X 2013).
It generates calendar entries for SMSes as if they were calls and there is no way of knowing which is which.
It does what it suppose to do. It would be useful to have 2 more features: 1. Option to skip calls that lasted less then a configured value, or at least call with 0 second duration. 2. If after call the phone number is added to the agenda, then the calendar entry to be re-synced with the name of the person in stead of the phone no. It get's 5 star never the less.
