With the Logo Me application you can conveniently change your device's bootlogo (not bootanimation) to a custom image with just a few simple clicks.
You can secure your custom logo with a numeric lock code (up to 9 digits). Changing or restoring the logo will only be possible after the lock code has been entered. This will allow you to tag your device by including your name and contact info on your custom bootlogo. In case your device gets stolen the thief will be having a hard time selling it. Also if you lose your device the finder will know how to contact you.
This application onlys work with the Galaxy Nexus GSM (maguro), Verizon (toro) and Sprint (toroplus).
**** IMPORTANT ****
Some custom ROMs come with a broken version of su and/or busybox. If you experience any problems with the app, before reporting the issue first try to fix it by installing Stericson's busybox (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox) and SuperSU (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu) and then updating the su binary in the SuperSU app.
The app uses the build properties to identify the device. If you mess with the properties the device detection will fail and the app will return the error that your device is not compatible.

Tested on AOKPCB R2 maguro, and love this gift of new customization potential. Manufacturer logo is a bit mis-aligned vertically, but hoping for an update eventually. Thanks!

Has not been updated to support JellyBean bootloaders. Tried commutating with maintainer, but was never given a reply. Paid app support should not be dropped with no warning.

I've been using this app for a while now but lately I just haven't been able to get the compression just right for some reason. It would be nice if it had an image generation feature for simple things like an optional icon and text to display (I.e., user info). It would take a lot of complication out of things.

I made images in Photoshop to the maximum file size. They do change easy enough but the images display at bottom of screen just above the lock image and do not cover the full screen. Not too impressed with it. and I messed with it for too long to get a refund.

Not a big deal, but Google Play Store actually says that this works with the Nexus 7, which is why I downloaded this. I see that Ezekeel wrote compatibility notes is the description, but heads up as it definitely does NOT work with the 7. Would be awesome if you updated it though! Giving it 5 stars cause I already have it on my Nexus and it rocks!

It is a great way to customize your phone and to make it hard top sell if it is stolen. I think it would be a great addition of the Dev added a GUI to generate text based boot screen pngs. I have searched the market and can find nothing of the sort.

Designed my own "strumcat" logo with Photoshop. Put it on the phone with this app. Survives all ROM and kernel changes. Very easy to use. Nice app.

Works much easier than the OGDroid days of manually editing SBF files. :) I've found you CAN get a much larger albeit pixelized image if you use the size suggested in the app on a Galaxy Nexus (running AOKP 4.x). Using 288x177 it looks small and like the Google logo. Using 720x595 it gets a bit pixelized, but fills almost 1/2 the screen.
