It doesn't convert everything.

I need to add food to know it's grams

Plain and simple, as convert app should be.

I only need to convert cups of different ingredients from American recipes into consistent, coherent and useful units of mass. The app does not have a conversion from cups into grammes so it is of no use to me. :( Sorry. :(((

Please add conversions from kilos to pounds to cups, like 1 cup of flour is = ? Grams / kilo that's what I'm actually looking for. Thanks

Not clear

There's a fair selection of units here, including English barrels, gallons, and pounds. But the only American unit is the pound. One of the most common conversions is from American cups, and they're missing from this app. American chefs may be happy to cram butter into a cup, but I would much rather use a kitchen scale and measure it in grammes. You can't even use an equivalent of 8 US fluid ounces as they're missing too! Fix the units and add temperature and a calculator please!

Some basic things ingredients like butter, soft cheese (s) are not included. As well as conversion from a cup. Most recipes call for measurements using cups...

I like all the features this has, but after that it falls apart. How can I convert cups (US) to fluid ounces? Why does it say there are 40.09 ounces in 1 quart? I have always believed there to be only 32. There are innumerable conversion errors like this. If I can't trust the accuracy of a conversion app, all the fancy features are meaningless. Until this is fixed, I can't recommend it.
