Antaragni 2016

Antaragni is the Annual Cultural Festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India and one of the largest of its kind in the whole of Asia. It is one of the most popular college cultural festivals witnessing an annual footfall of over 30,000 visitors from all over India. Over the years, Antaragni has evolved into the biggest cultural extravaganza of Northern India with its 50 years of legacy.

Antaragni has been one of the finest and the most competitive stages for the youth of the country to showcase their cultural talents. Over the years, Antaragni has witnessed some of the best talents of the country vie for the ultimate crown. Annually, it draws participants from over 200 colleges, making it one of the most anticipated college festivals of the year.

Many prominent personalities from diverse fields have graced the stage of Antaragni in it’s past editions. Some of the notable musicians who have been present here include Jagjit Singh, Pt. Ravi Shankar and Ustd. Amjad Khan. Many Bollywood actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Divya Dutta and Kunal Kapoor have also been among our distinguished guests. Some of the popular bands and singers who have headlined Antaragni previously include Atif Aslam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal-Shekhar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Sonu Nigam, Poets of the Fall, Amit Trivedi, Indus Creed and Blackstrat Blues, just to name a few. Antaragni'16 is scheduled from 20th to 23rd October 2016 with the theme "Hues of Bliss".
