First Aid For Cyclists for Android
Should be to check knowledge you already have, not much use in an emergency as more text than pictorial
Thoughtfully kind, thanks, LNG(USzip12953)
I love that this app get frequent updates.
As a cycling coach we have to have emergency first aid training, this guide is really excellent and focused for cyclist. Thank you St Johns Ambulance.
The amount of information in this app is not only impressive, but also easy to use.
Missed circulation off DRABC!
Well it is great to learn but it is a bit scary

As I am a part of St John Ambulance, I believe it is neccesary to have life saving information at your fingertips as you never know when you may need it.
Must have app for every biker out there!
Under the emergency tab, the D.R.A.B.C primarily assessment "C" for Circulation is missing as a step. this is a check for major bleeds. Please add. Just finished the course today.
Loved it, lived it
Simple to use with good basic information. Perhaps info on snake bites would be useful.

I love first aid
Well done
This app provides a better level of detail than the more general SJA first aid app. But cycling isn't that dangerous, and certainly doesn't warrant being the first specialized app from SJA. Statistics show being in a car or even a pedestrian are more dangerous per mile travelled. Also most cycling is solo (commute) so this information is no good if you come off your bike, unless person who finds you happens to be a cyclist as well ... Unlikely that other road users will download the app.
I love first aid and sja great app for cyclists who need to know first aid in an event an accident
Essential app for cyclists
Everyone should know basic 1st Aid. 1st Aid is exactly that, it is the first aid that the casualty gets before the professionals arrive. To the people who are debating whether to get involved or should they let the person lie there in pain, or even dying because they are worried about being sued I hope you are never in a bad accident and that someone does that to you. Someone I know had a heart attack and his friends (?!) stood and did nothing. By the time the ambulance arrived it was too late.
Well laid out and useful reminders if you encounter a situation.
Quick and easy to use. Plus it's probably the only app I've downloaded that doesn't take advantage and require loads of unnecessary permissions.
Covers a lot of different areas

Confusing with apparently conflicting advice. For head injury one comment says to remove helmet and move casualty from traffic, another says to beware of spinal injuries so not to move while another says to place unconscious victim in the recovery position. In regard to head injury, concussion is a huge risk factor and not covered. With concussion is is very dangerous to sustain an additional head impact. Victims can have behaviour problems becoming aggressive or overly sexual - something anyone trying to help might need to be aware of.
