The Christian Bible is divided into two major sections known as the Testaments, the Old and the New Testament.

Of the 66 books that make up the Bible, the Old Testament consists of 39 books while the New Testament consists of 27 books:

The books of the Bible are divided into sections:

Old Testament:

- Books of the Law (or Pentateuch):Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.

- Historical Books: (They contain the history of Israel):Joshua, Judges, Ruth, First Samuel, Second Samuel, First Kings, Second Kings,First Chronicles, Second Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther.

- Poetry books (or The Writings):Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon.

- Books of the Prophets:
Major Prophets:Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel
Minor Prophets: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk,Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi.


New Testament:
