Import Contacts for Android
Can import the phonenumbers but not the names.
It didn't work for me. I tried to import a .vcf file with multiple contacts created by an LG500G phone to a newer LG L21G. The app separated the names from the numbers and created 2X the contacts. ( Names with no numbers and numbers with no names. ) It also did not put any of the contacts into the groups they had been in on the old phone. I have a lot of manual work to do...
Exported my contacts on my Mac into a .vcf file, copied to my phone's SD card, ran the import - all that came across were the names, none of the numbers or email addresses. Waste of time, and money. I want a refund!

Useless.
Grest app
Had several others fail, this did the job except didn't bring in images that were in the vcf files... but at this point, it's close enough given the ridiculous complexity of what should be a relatively simple task. Vcf files exported from my Windows Oulook 2010, copied over via USB to my Samsung G5, and then this tool let me browse to thar folder and import all found there. Slick and easy, and great except the missing images. But I've burned enough time at this point!
Couldn't import my contacts from an Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread export to Lolllipop (5.x) (bad move, Google). This app did the trick. Thanks. |||||||||||||||||||| Konnte meine Kontakte aus einem Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread export nicht nach Lollipop (5.x) importieren (Google: Nicht gut. Setzten, Sechs). Diese App hat's geschaukelt. Danke.

Importing names and number but separating them. So when the import process finished, I have numbers without name and name without numbers.
The old version didn't work with the vCard folder I created. The developer corrected the problem after being contacted. If you have a problem, let the developer know (as he requests) and he'll work to fix it. What a concept!

Had lots of problems Attempted to use this to import about 800 contacts into my phone. It crashed about six times and generated error reports, aborted every time the screen saver came on and when I finally managed to import them I found it can created unusable records. I eventually had to delete all my contacts and re-create. Very disappointed and sadly to be avoided. UPDATE 6/1/13 - I have been advised by the designer that the import limit issue has now been resolved in version 1.3.1 (2013-01-06). I have not tested this. The other two issues are still outstanding and he is actively investigating them
