Location Tracker

Location Tracker uses your phone's GPS to get its location, which is then displayed using Google Maps, along with the current speed, average speed, total distance, and duration. Locations are stored on your phone and are not shared with anyone.

It is completely free and there are no ads.

Location Tracker is built upon the RunTracker from the book Android Programming: The Big Nerd Ranch Guide. It contains solutions to all of the challenges and much more. The source code is available at github.com/alexandervbarkov/BNR/tree/master/LocationTracker .

Note:
1) When GPS is first acquiring your location, especially if you are indoor where signal is weak, your location will not be correct, which will result in wrong location and speed being displayed.
2) When GPS is being used, your battery will drain faster.
3) If you want to delete multiple records at the same time, long press one of the records in the records list view, and then select the ones that you want to delete.
