Coffee Roaster

It seems to just randomly stop roasting if the screen times out, which is a bummer.

You don't the option to set the time/temperature for the turn-arround point and the begining of the Maillard Reaction.

Best coffee roaster app so far. Please add multiple delete menu. Thanks for creating a great app.

Can you add a countdown, e.g 2 minutes 30 sec after FC? Usually I'm using a manual countdwon while roasting a coffee. Just to remind me. And another one: Currently I'm using a roaster machine that has only one temperature indicator, yup no beans probe. So, can I move the temperature bar both with only one touch?

I just started roasting and I think this will work nicely. I need to figure out how to export as XML though. It would be nice to have the capability to share with other devices and/or Google Drive or Dropbox. Update 3/3/2012: I've done five roasts now and am liking this app more and more. A couple of suggestions. An option to keep the screen on during the roast. Waking the device up when I want to make a quick recording or check the time can be tricky. An export file in something other than XML. I don't of anything that read or manipulate an XML file.

I really like this app overall. I'd like to see a delete confirmation though. I accidentally deleted one of my roasts by pressing the wrong button. Since the Behmor has no real control over temperature maybe make the temperature settings optional, or preset them based off of the profile you are using.

A well thought and complete app for logging coffee roasting profiles. The only addition that would make this an even more useful app, is OCR number recognition for the live monitoring and logging of temperature on a roaster's LED screen, using the camera of a phone or tablet. Not an easy feature to add, but it would make this app awesome! :) PS: Everybody loves a clearly visible timer while roasting, so you could enlarge the timer display quite significantly!

The app works great. It would be nice to have the ability to take notes during the roast. I always like to take notes on how I'm adjusting the heat, and there isn't an easy way to incorporate that. I use a note 4, so I can take a note with my stylus. But there's no option afterwards to include an image. It only let's you add a picture that you have to take live. If this feature were added it would be 5 stars from me.

Looks good so far. Would be nice to be able to set a default roaster. Might be difficult because home roasters probably only need a few of the same but it would be awesome to be able to print labels directly from the app. I'll review again when I'm a few more roasts in.

Very good and usefull app, i replace my manual log with this app, really convenience. Only have 1 minor problem, cant save picture but no big deal.

I originally started using this on my S3 with great success. When I got a tablet I was a bit sad to see it was by compatible, so I wrote designer. With a fast response he gave me a reason why my specific tab was not yet compatible and sent me a copy to manually install. Worked perfect and have used it for many successful roasting sessions.

First downloaded this app because I forgot my data log folder at home. Since I roast in another town I didn't want to lose my trip so I decided to look if there was any app for roasting. To my surprise this was a life saver! Now I no longer use my folder! Really awesome once you get the hang of it!

Other than adding style format to it I like it a lot.

This looks good and accepts input of coffee details, etc, but regularly crashes on my Android 2.1 Flytouch (Wowpad) when I try to start roasting - version 3.6. It would be nice to be able to go back and edit coffee details. Typos are pretty common with the tablet keyboard.

Great app for the home roaster! Encourages awareness of roast times and helps me keep track of the many varietals roasted. Can even add tasting notes!

Great tool, thanks. One minor annoyance, on a galaxy note, the editor box for time/temp points is too small that the 2 digits are on top of eachother.

Great roasting tool... if you roast coffee get this app. Very well done and easy to use. Ginny

This app works well, but the interface would benefit from a few modest enhancements. I suggest being able to Edit past roasts from longpress on the roast rather than "Switch to Edit Mode." The only issue I've experienced is that the pictures don't save, but that might be my phone. I'm enjoying this app, its really helpful. Thank you!

Great app, need to be able to add notes , the buttons are quite close together, so I push the wrong one. The temperatue slide could be bigger. Tx

Nice idea, but the graphs don't work for me, I can't edit roasts nor take pictures on my Hero. Will keep an eye on updates.

It'sa good start but for a version 3.5 it lacks features especially flexibility. You can record time and temperatute but no notes such as heat and fan

Great for any level of roasting experience. Only disappointment is that a barista doesnt come with it. ;)

Useful, but odd timestamps on the saved roasts. Latest release seems more reliable. Samsung galaxy S.

This app really helps me to record all my roasting data. It needs some time to understand and maximize the use for this app, but it worth, a lot. 5 stars app..!

Nexus 5 having issue to rename picture file. My pictures don't show up.
