Quiet Sleep is the easiest way to automatically silence calls that are not urgent while still being able to receive emergency calls. Quiet Sleep lets you have a silent sleep without the fear of missing out on important calls.
How does it work?
Quiet Sleep monitors incoming calls and silences the phone so you won't be disturbed. Quiet Sleep can also send an SMS to the silenced caller explaining why you have not picked up their call (SMS content can be customized). If the same caller calls several times in a defined amount of time the sound will automatically be turned up so you can answer the important call (the mentioned factors can be adjusted in the preferences). The homescreen widget lets you turn the app on and off very quickly before and after you go to sleep.

This was an absolute life saver until I upgraded to Lollipop. Now when it is scheduled on my alarm doesn't ring, and whitelist calls don't ring either. Not recommended.

Perfect, does exactly what I need. I loaded in my family's phone numbers and now I can silence my phone at night but their calls and only their calls ring through. I don't even have to remember to turn my ringer on in the morning because there is a setting for that too. Well done. __

I bought this App for my S3 initially. Since Samsung added the blocking mode in 4.1 I switched to that, tho - if only because its simply one app less installed. On my Nexus 7 a similar feature is missing, tho. It would be great if you could make your app compatible!

Thus app has a myriad if options to avoid being woken by notifications and calls. Whitelist numbers are allowed through and texts may be automatically sent to callers explaining how to break through. Excellent.

bought the ad free app and doesnt work as expected when 'enabled'..... the scheduling doesnt work but manually its OK... need to get my money back. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5.

*** edit - schedule no longer works. I can only manually start and stop it now. My suspension is it's a compatibility problem with Android 4.4.2 *** Look no further. For the cost of a soda, this app may actually add time to your life by allowing you to sleep, but at the same time be available in an emergency. Does it get any better? Great support from the developer too!

Having an issue with my white list contacts messages sounding off.

Whenever I receive a call from someone on my whitelist there is a beeping noise throughout the duration of the call and after. Rebooting the phone is the only way to stop it. Is there some setting? Galaxy Note 2/ Jelly Bean. Once this is addressed will adjust review.
