BEAKER - Mix Chemicals for Android
What SHOULD I say? I love learning about chemicals and all that and everything just got better with Beaker. OK, bare with me. I am a kid. I have seen others comment saying that airmix doesn't work but why need airmix? That's just to connect some solutions. Overall there is nothing bad but on my BUSH tablet it just freezes
I really enjoy the aspect of playing around with different substances and making things explode, sizzle and change colour. Some things to fix: It frequently starts with a black screen and I have to restart it before it is functional. Some of the equations are mathematically unbalanced eg Zinc + HCl reaction. Oneplus 5
There are things that generally don't work, example being if you ever want to do the complete calcium carbonate cycle it just won't let you. However I love this app but would love to see a electrolysis option, it would be handy separating some solutions I've made.
THIS IS A NICE APP BUT IF YOU ARE CLASSIFYING THIS AS AN EDUCATIONAL APP IT SHOULD ACTUALLY TEACH YOU SOMETHING. THERE SHOULD BE A TWO DIFFERENT MODES FOR THIS GAME - 1) TO LEARN NEW CHEMICAL REACTIONS THROUGH TUTORIALS AND 2)A SANDBOX MODE LIKE THIS ONE. ALSO, MANY OF THE ELEMENTS ARE ABSENT.
Haha... I'm a science geek so I love this game. I like how I can just play around with all dis crap and yeah... Even though i'm not sure if it's exactly one hundred percent accurate but I don't care. It's still fun. Heh
When liquid is produced in a reaction it glitches out in the beaker. And I think that precipitates formed in one should actually be there. Like copper ii chloride with aluminum added should create solid copper and aluminum nitrate
One thing is that i wish u could make the freeze rod free, i was kinda getting tired of just heating things up. Also can you guys fix that liquid bug thing and make the water more realistic in movement... Plus can you guys add more liquids to chose from Overall i frickn LOVE this game
There are 2 different distributions of this app. One for really fast processors and one for assumed tablets. The latter doesn't work at all and really needs good debugging and attention. The one for my phone actually dissoves things in acid. Disappointed because the chromebook has a huge battery.
Good reactions. The ones I tested out were accurate. I tried putting all the solids in with some bromine and it only froze a bit into the last page, and even then I could get most of the water out. Very good.
It's a very useful app that fueled my desire for more knowledge. However, the prime focus is on acid base reactions and not on other types of reactions like electrolysis. Some improvements in the movement of fluids and solids and the addition of gases like chlorine would be helpful.
Idea is very good. But while NaOH dissolves in H2O quite easily, KOH refuses to dissolve, even if I heat it up or add HCl. Also CaCl2 does not dissolve. This is just wrong.
It's a really fun app, both for habit chemists and those needing to study reactions for class, but I can't find a button to reset the system with. If I was to start a new beaker, I have to close the app and reopen it, which is aggravating
Yeah it's fun to geek out over it for about an hour, but it's basically just making more boring versions of chemical reactions. You can get more enjoyment out of watching videos about chemical reactions or better yet taking a chemistry class. The most use I can see anyone getting out of this app is for teachers to safely show younger students chemical reactions.
It's really realistic and you can learn a lot from it but there's one issue though. Every time I use the separator, it works but then it won't work again unless I close the app and open It again. Overall a good game
Its a great idea! It's just lacking a few things. Some more chemicals would be nice, and maybe a search bar to search through the chemicals. I was to clean out the beaker would be neat too.
It is a very good app and is very accurate. My only complaint is that when you mix iron and mercury nitrate, the app glitches heavily, freezes and eventually crashes. This only happens so often, but is something to fix. Anyways, it is a great app to be recommended.
sometimes wont open (just reinstall it) and AirMix doesnt work, i have location and wifi on (many people say that) EDIT: the separator doesn't work either. EDIT:will see if works now
Airmix doesnt work. I have tried everything i can thik of, but it jist doent work. Phones are bluetooth linked and right next to each other. When i click airmix i cant click past installed... but it sure doesnt seem installed.
It was kind of just boring. Other than putting aluminum in a liquid or heating up calcium, nothing would react. This is why the game is also unrealistic, because i'm pretty sure that a pellet of arsenic dropped in hydrogen flouride does not just sit there.
Nice job THIX. Actually there are some issues regarding the app. Acid doesn't react with metals and whenn added, it appears as it reacts with water. Otherwise the app is amazing. Also fix bugs issues as sometimes app doesn't respond.
When I add chemicals to the beaker, there was no reactions at all. Just some words that I don't understand.
Its good but there are some problems. Even though the AirMix was fixed, I've noticed that I still can't connect to other devices. Please fix and if the devices have to be the same type of device please explain that. Thank You!
The reaction to other chemicals is cool to watch. like HF + Cs = a big explosion. And Litmus + Cs = small explosion. And ACl + Cs = medium explosion. And Br subscript 2 + Cs = the Cs burns like a white ball of light. Makes Cs + 2Br subscript 2 = 2CsBr .
Please help. I can't even turn it on. I open the app and there is just a black screen with a circle in the middle. I try rubbing it and all that comes out is something that is similar to striking a match. Would give a better rating after I can get to the main page and actually start playing it.
I have this installed on one other online which is hosting internet connection via WiFi hotspot but air mix doesn't connect. Would give five stars if this issue is solved.
Nothing would happen when I added stuff! Just a bunch a random words and symbols I didn't understand.
It's a great app, but I'm having trouble getting things to dissolve (I'm going for a precipitation reacton), my solubility rules say all nitrates are soluble but when I stick lead nitrate in water nothing happens, if I turn the heater coils on, bubbles come off the lump but I think that's just steam because the lump of lead nitrate is over 100° rather than it dissolving or reacting. If someone can tell me how to get things dissolving that would be great.
Hey all, my 13 year old daughter and I loved messing about with the app. But can you add a simple non-complicated (ie: non-pay-for) addition, which is to name the elements with their practical, non-Periodic Table names? Second to the PT ones, I, want her to learn, but only the PT ones makes it incomprehensible to her!
Nice Consept But When I Try to Pour water There was Drop Of Litmus (Buttons Are too Close.can't touch accurately) Needs high improvements... PLEASE REPLAY ME ASAP
Can I at least have something more than a match heater and lid i want the blender and cooler but I'm not wasting my money on them all I want is the blender and fix some of the reactions
Really fun and cool way to learn about chemical reactions. Could you please add liquid versions of the gases and more elements as well as being able to cool below zero to would be awesome. Great job guys look forward to more updates
This app is great but it did not contain all types of reactions. Please introduce new features I am willing to even pay money for all the complex reactions.
Great app. Accurate reactions. Sadly, a few functions had to be bought with real money, which is why I didn't rate it five stars. Otherwise, really fun and entertaining. I would recommend it.
App is just a black screen with a small white circle. Tapping the circle brings up a list of reagents. Touching the screen starts an animation where you tap. That is all.
Why can't I make metal alloys!? When I successfully melt and mix metals They never cool down even after turning the cooler on. Please fix this issue and I'll rate 5 stars!
The concept is great, but the lag of the app on android is unbearable. The iOs version works very well, and I would like to see the android app work just as well.
I got it on my tablet and it would stop if the WiFi was on. I got it on my phone, and if I clicked on gold, barium chloride would come up.
Interesting way to mess with chemistry. Game crashes when mixing Mercury Nitrate with Iron. Not sure why. Just avoid that combo
The app was great, useful until I found I couldn't restore purchase

very fun way to learn chemical reactions. wanting to learn but not exactly positive everything is accurate. you would have to spend a couple years mixing everything this game has to offer. i made a chemical reaction that made the color of the water transparent. if i knew exactly what the active compounds were, i would gladly share for others to discover. thank you for a really neat app. edit: would also like a drain option. allow it to remain open, could you maybe add the option for customized quick bar? would be helpful. also you could incorporate youtube videos demonstrating in-game chemical reactions. dont need voice and anyone could screen capture. just add on screen text. hope my suggestions are worthy.
