ONL: Pelle Flitst

Pelle Flitst is een app die kinderen met dyslexie helpt door woorden te flitsen. De app is bedoeld voor kinderen in groep 4 en 5.

De ontwikkeling van het spel is geïnitieerd door Onderwijszorg Nederland. ONL is een innovatieve aanbieder van onderzoek naar- en behandeling van dyslexie. De game wordt gratis aangeboden aan alle kinderen en hun ouders.

Pelle Flitst doe je met zijn tweeën. De ene speler leest de woorden hardop en de ander geeft aan of het goed gelezen is. Elk woord wordt in een flits getoond, waarbij de lettergrootte en de flitsduur instelbaar zijn. Woorden die nog niet goed gelezen werden, worden opnieuw aangeboden. Door op de 'roteren' button te drukken kun je tegenover elkaar of naast elkaar zitten. Voor elke goed gelezen ronde verdien je een hondenpenning voor op de halsband van Pelle. Door het schudden van de letters en de positieve feedback van Pelle wordt het flitsen van woorden een leuke ervaring. De basis van de app zijn woorden die kort zichtbaar zijn. Het oefenen van woorden met eenzelfde structuur is een beproefd hulpmiddel voor kinderen met dyslexie. Er zijn 56 rondes waarin steeds een andere woordgroep geflitst wordt. Iedere ronde worden steeds twintig woorden aangeboden die duidelijk familie van elkaar zijn. De woordrijen volgen de behandelingen van de dyslexiebehandelaars: naast thuis spelen zal de app ook goed ingezet kunnen worden tijdens de behandeling.

Met Pelle Flitst wordt dyslexie niet behandeld, maar kinderen kunnen met de app wel woorden sneller leren herkennen. Vragen of suggesties? Mail naar info@edventure.nu. Pelle Fires is an app that helps children with dyslexia to flash by words. The app is designed for children in grade 4 and 5.

Pelle Fires do you do with a friend. One player reads the words aloud and the other indicates whether it is good read. Each word is displayed in a flash, with the font size and flash duration are adjustable. Words that were not read properly, will be relisted. By pressing the 'rotate' button button you can sit facing each other or next to each other. For each round you earn a good read for dog tag necklace Pelle. Practicing words with a similar structure is a proven tool for children with dyslexia. There are 56 rounds in which still another phrase is flashed.
