Earz teaches you to read musical notes, to listen and to understand music theory on all(!) possible levels.

Earz teaches you to read musical notes, to understand music theory and to identify basic musical principles by listening (high/low, long/short, and loud/soft), instruments, rhythm, intervals, chords, and scales.
Earz provides no explanations; you learn by answering audio questions.

Earz is the ideal aid for educational institutions, music associations, choirs, and the like, as the content can be modified completely by teachers in order to befit specific students!
The app is suitable for everyone; from beginners to professionals (solfège), for young and old, and it operates as a game (with several levels, highscores, etc.).

Earz contains the following ‘modules’:

Desirable for the teacher:
-Earz works independently of specific methods, thus can be used to complement any teaching material.
-The content of the app can be modified completely (and easily) by the teacher on the teachers’ page, for example to match with specific groups/classes or even individual students.
-Earz contains a large amount of high-quality audio material for all levels.
-The content is never exactly the same, as it is randomized by the app.
-The online teachers’ page (actually Dutch only) includes a student tracking system.
-The program can be used effectively in a (group) lesson.
-Earz can be used in Dutch and in English.

Desirable for the student:
-Earz operates in the form of a game and is therefore challenging.
-The program runs on PCs as well as on tablets and smartphones.
-It is exciting to get as high on the scoreboard as possible.
