Montessori Alphabet Phonics for Android
Just downloaded the app. Read more nice than negative reviews. Hoping my 3year old will catch on too. Fingers crossed
Nice
Math games
I have a 4 year old son and this app has been great for him! He used to say that letters just "looked like squiggles," but now he can identify and write any letter! Montessori Alphabet Phonics provides great flash cards for learning the alphabet and learning about the sounds the letters make. Definitely would recommend this app to anyone with kids between the ages of 3 and 7!
This is one of the best learning apps available. It has everything a child learning phonics needs. The best part is that it makes learning fun!
This is a wonderful educational tool for the kids. Its colorful and fun, so they will keep interested!
This is a great education tool for little kids. It seen like it draws you in and keep you forcus on the task at home. Also it have different learning skills such as spelling, writing, and self thinking
What a helpful app for raising children. Very educational and fun. The bright colors and fun interface keep my kids from getting distracted and you can see them learning as you go along. Very rewarding
Toys is a great learning app for children. I find the montessori style teaching to be way more effective than others. Is very engaging also very well designed. My cousins are learning a lot worn this app!
I am amazed at the new age ways of teaching kids these days. Back in my day I learned to write the alphabet using a boulder and a piece of string. My daughter's boy has learned all about the alphabet from his mom's hand computer. The future really is something!
Little kids can learn so much from this app! Especially with the Montessori style of teaching! The flashcards are actually very useful! It's very colorful and a great interactive tool!
Fun activities for the kids to play. Teaches them to write better and pronounce letters better.
I have a 3 year old daughter that loves this game. Its very simple and for young kids, introduces them to letters and the things that start with them. She loves letters and calling things out.
my son plays this constantly. its like having a teacher sit with him as he draws out letters. very great asset to any parents group of educational apps for young children.
Perfect for kids learning to write, shows them how to trace. The art is cute too.
Really Useful app for learning and remembering the alphabet. Provides instructions for very neat writing..
Really great educational app with a fun element for the kids!
Would be better to play on tablet then on phone. Nice for kids it has cool trick to make then fall in number and letter. Nice app
Designed for kids they kept it simple and innovative. Nice app for kids they should have fun
Gave this to my daughter to try out on the tablet. She loves it! Great because shes learning too. 5 stars
My Granddaughter has a blast writing her letters and practicing her handwriting skills with fun games and activities. She has a blast tracing dotted lines to learn how to form letters. I like that there are left and right hand modes, 2 levels of difficulty challenges kids. Samantha traces one letter with the dotted lines and then she tried one that has no guiding lines right after. Before she is given the letter she hears the letter name and the picture of something that starts with that letter. She can choose to work on Upper or lower case letters. There are other games like the Alphabet and she has so much interactive fun focused on a specific letter and learning vocabulary words that start with that letter along with fun graphics. She can trace numbers too and when she traces the number correctly she fills up a jar with fire flies. It is really fun and Samantha loves it! Kids are rated with 1, 2 or 3 stars for their performance. The free version can be upgraded to unlock more games and features.
Great
The point is to call the letter by its sound, not its name, which this app does not. It should be "cat starts with kah" but instead it says " cat starts with see, kah cat" that is confusing to a two or three year old. I'm a preschool teacher and I'm telling you, this is not montessori. And having to draw the letters in a specific direction and order is rediculous!! It's cute, but cute is not always educational.
Doesn't work on galaxy note 10.1 2014
Just love the way teaching method

Gud app
This app is broken on an HP Touchpad running CM11 (Android 4.4.4). You can load the app and trace one letter, but after you do that, the button to advance to the next letter is missing. It works fine on my phone (HTC One M7 running 4.4.2) so I'm not sure what the issue is on the tablet. Rather frustrating because it looks like it could be a nice app.
A general rule of the Montessori reading method is that children call letters by sound, not "name" as usually taught. It's smart...one less step in the process...if you see "c-a-t" and think "see says kuh, ay says aa, tee says tuh..." then go back and put the sounds together. On the other hand if you look at the same letters and think "kuh, aa, tuh" you've got cat! No back and forth. Good job, developers!
Nice

Background music is distracting. Need an English letter pronouncer version, otherwise to confusing for English kids.
My 3 year old son has found his first favorite app on our new Tablet. The ABC Alphabet Phonics Tracing app has been keeping him engaged for long periods of time. I love that it is wholesome learning- He is really loving all the activity and characters that help instill the learning further. I am excited to see how well he does after a few times, the tracking feature makes this easy for me to follow. Having the choice of uppercase and lowercase has allowed him to choose what is easier for him at this time. I recommend this to any child that is beginning to explore the alphabet or any child that needs extra enforcement. I will note that there is background music that plays, but even though it is repetitive-it is not overpowering nor is it annoying.
I just downloaded this game and my twins are dieing to place more. They are 3 and absolutely are loving this game!
This app is cute for preschool/kindergarten aged kids learning the alphabet. My daughter is 5 and this holds her attention pretty well. It's helpful for learning to trace letters and learn letter sounds. It's cute and keeps kids busy!
