iCamSpy PRO

It's a pretty easy and cheap home security camera app. Seems a little buggy (things freeze occasionally).

Looking forward to seeing the following features in future updates. 1. Ability to switch between wifi and 3G without having to restart the app. 2. Ability to change account password. 3. A dedicated PC server which enables PC-to-phone direct wifi connection w/o the need of mobile data connection. 4. Ability to adjust brightness to use in low light condition. 5. Current time and date overlay.

Everytime I switch from 3G to wifi it automatically links to 3G. Even if i exit and force stop the app. I emailed the company to resolve this and still no response. Its a good app to have and i enjoy watching what my pups are up to but i would rather not waste my money if all I get is a picture i have to keep refreshing.

Pretty disappointed in the app. Every time I launch the program and connect, even though I select Wi-Fi it says it connects in 3G mode. Thus, making this quite unusable unless you're willing to to stream over and use your mobile data (10 seconds of stream is .5 Mbs). So essentially, the only thing I can do without using 3G is taking a picture of what is there. I haven't looked at other apps as I had hoped this would be good enough, but I wish I hadn't spent the money and looked for something better.

I paid for the pro thinking the free one just didn't have good quality but still couldn't see anything but static so I just uninstalled it. Trying to see about getting my money back but can't get ahold of anyone.

Worked ok the first two days. Nothing since then. Also doesn't work if your computer goes to sleep, and you haves to keep your browser open. Not very sneaky in my opinion. Waste of money, personally.

Not great. Doesn't record video on my PC. The android app is annoying with its voice notifications of "Motion Detected" and "Staying Connected" Wish there was a way to disable the voice.

I cant connect via wifi, every time i chose wifi it says 3g and i dont even have mobile network turned on.

Awesome! If I'm away for a day i can leave my laptop in sleep mode, log in thru the computer, and check in on my pets and their food/water using my phone while I'm away. Very worth the money.

This sounds like a great idea but most of the time it simply does not work. When it does it is great. I have the pro version which cost! There is no support and it has not been updated for a long time. Spend some money and get a decent system. When it doesn't work, it just causes anxiety. Don't bother.

I am currently on a 4 day vacation. On the 2nd day this app decided to stop working and it refuses to connect to my PC. I am so pissed off that this app wasted my money. Peace of mind right of the door.

Was great until version 2 came out and ruined everything. Now I'm stuck with a useless app that doesn't do what I bought it for. The website doesn't monitor anything like it used to and the alerts don't work at all. I'm sorry I paid for it.

Doesn't work any more. It stopped working in opera so I tried Firefox and it said not supported, please use chrome. That's 3 browsers on two different devices, a PC and Android device. It just says connecting but never connects

No lag. Keeps up in real time. Motion alerts optional. Great app. Needs adobe flash player. Need to enable some settings for this to work. Right click on screen for flash player settings.

After paying for this app I have had endless problems, bad quality, connecting over wifi doesn't work - keeps defaulting to 3g (even when my mobile traffic is disabled) - and HD? can hardly make out what is going on and what picture is displayed

It says connected to phone but only see the picture display, works best with foxfire also the policy stated if you grade this product with a score lower then a 4 star without giving them the opportunity to fix the problem, they will delete your account and you will never be able to use it again for life, they won't respond to e-mail support. You can probably forget about a refund but I don't care because every one needs to know. After using the trial, you should move on and forget about purchasing Pro

I should be able to close out firefox and use the android app to activate the camera. What is the purpose of surveillance if you need a window open that everyone can see?? Especially if you want to see who is getting onto your computer after you lock it and screen saver is on. There should also be an option to send the files where we want. Also, need to find a way to disable the light that comes on when the web cam is on. This app is very misleading, since we can not activate the cam with our phones.

Ok soooo I have had this app 4 few day tryibg to figure it out and not going well starting to be very unhappy when I leave app will not load back 2 watch it I know my labtop is rec kinda want monwy back 2 look for another

Keeps shutting down on me when I leave my house. But I love it when it does work and that's 80th percent of the ttime.

Exactly what I needed, but keeps connecting via 3G instead of Wi-Fi, which I have a strong connection to at work. Also I have three 4G bars, so no idea why it keeps defaulting to 3G even when I choose Wi-Fi. So now I can only get pictures instead of video.

It requires us to keep the device logged in. I mean how silly is that. It should have been an auto initiation on detection of motion. I apologise if there is feature and i missed it.

Works as long as someone is sitting get at computer to accept cam access. Crap.

Listen this thing is making porn spam come through my pc's can you fix this? If not I can't use this. I have children here.

Needs work other than slow video it's ok

Works great for checking in on my pups. We just got a brand new puppy and I love being able to see how much he barks in his crate while we're gone. One suggestion: please make it an option to turn OFF the app sounds. I want to be able to open and close the app at work without everyone hearing. It is very loud and disruptive.

Just try and you'll have to upgrade to the pro I believe it's a awesome program and the free version should be not free but it is and you'll hear people for who rather really are ....it's insain

I like this app but for me for the price there should be more options like being able to choose where your files are saved and it should do it automatically. Also there should be a way to add more than one cam. My cam came with software that does all of that and more just can't view the cam with my phone. All most want my money back.

Very good program would be better if more webcams could be connected.

It works about 50% of the time. I bought the pro version to keep an eye on my dog and after a month of having the app it stopped working consistently. It takes me to the connection page but never connects. I have reinstalled it twice, the problem is not resolved.

ICAMSPY did all that it claimed to do... I'm very satisfied.

This app is very unreliable for any type of surveillance away from the home. My "update photo" button stops working after an unspecified time (three hours has been the longest it stayed connected). Money wasted. Refund please?

Great on wifi if you don't lose connection while in the background. Really struggling with 3G. Have yet to try 4G. Hopefully will be improved all the time but a very good start.

Works ok. Would be nice if it worked in 3g/4G mode for live video, as advertised
