Tienoo

Tienoo will allow you to access all the information you may need when discovering our covered areas. The map shows you the routes to follow and sights to see while in the information package included you will find lots of facts and tips about your surroundings. Uniquely, through the feedback you can give through this app, your voice will be heard and you can influence recreational and landscape planning.

There is also a fun treasure hunt to explore and when users have discovered the answers at all the points then they can then submit their entry to our grand prize draw!

The application has four main elements:
- An interactive map that shows the location and the routes and services.
- An information suite offering details on the environment, such as nature, animals, history of the area and its attractions, services and activities.
- A direct feedback function which will facilitate ability to give direct location-based opinions and photos while in the area
- An interactive treasure hunt in which you will be directed to target sites where you will be given a set of questions to answer before you can move on. By answering the questions you will be contributing to the planning of the area and you can win prizes!

The application is being rolled out first in Ruunaa Hiking Area in Lieksa, North Karelia, Eastern Finland which is owned and managed by Metsähallitus.
