windream Mobile App

The windream Mobile App serves for the mobile access to and management of all data and documents stored in the windream ECM system: anywhere and at any time! This allows companies maximum flexibility for sharing important company knowledge with authorized users, regardless of the time and of their location.
With the windream Mobile App, you can retrieve, display and edit documents stored in the folder structures of a windream Server and even use convenient search functions. This includes a quick search, a fulltext search for documents archived on a windream Server, searches for index properties of document types including wildcards, and searches on the basis of time periods with the help of date fields. Previously conducted searches can be saved as profiles and repeated whenever desired.

The windream Mobile App displays previews of selected documents. Furthermore, the properties of documents can be displayed, allowing users an immediate overview of all index properties. Users can mark documents as favorites on their end devices. These favorites can be made available offline via the windream Mobile App, allowing users to edit the respective document or its index data. The documents can then, for example, be sent per e-mail or synchronized with the windream Server of the company.
The windream Mobile App automatically marks changed documents. This allows users to recognize whether a document available in offline mode has been changed by another user on the windream Server.
If you want to use the windream Mobile App in connection with your company’s own windream Server, you can upload newly created documents and assign them extended index properties via your mobile device. Corresponding configurations can allow users to access the Web Client of the windream BPM Business Process Management System.
windream GmbH offers free access to a windream demo server for testing the functions of the windream Mobile App. This demo server provides various windream marketing documents for downloading. The use of the windream demo server for extended testing purposes requires the activation of a user account.
