This is a great Bible app. Simple to use and versatile.

I have been using this app for a number years without any problems up until now. For the past few days I have been unable to switch to a different Bible translation. The app freezes every time I attempt to do that. In an effort to have this problem rectified, I have made several attempts to contact the creators of this app however, I have been unsuccessful. I haven't even received any feedback as yet so I'm left very disappointed as a result. I will be deleting this app today.

With tabs features is found very useful, for quick reference and checking for difference bible chapters

I use it daily, and find it excellent.

So far this is the best bible app I can find. No bells and whistles. All I need is to be able to read God 's words. Good thing about this app is there are no advertising. Other apps always try to sell you stuffs. Do not try making money by selling words of God. Gospel is free. God' s grace and salvation is free. Remember Jesus drove merchants out of the temple. Thank you.

Use it all the time reading in church or on visits. Love the bookmark and highlight function. The side by side different version view is really handy.

The only problem is the chinese version shows block on the tab. Please fix this problem. Thx

Mmmm this app is so useful. It has Torrey's Topical Textbook, Nave's Topical Bible, and Easton's Bible Dictionary along with a prayer log!!! A good app for any Biblical exegete...

Tops my list of good offline bible study apps.

This is the best and most detailed bible app and the most affordable, highly recommended. Please we need for iPad asap!...... Issue with lollipop needs to be resolved though

After upgraded my nexus 4 to lollipop, I can not start Emmanuel, even try to uninstall and installation...

Waited ages to be able to play audio when screen shuts! Too draining on battery and highly inconvenient to have screen full on whilst audio Bible is playing. Makes audio useless. Please fix this flaw and i'd be happy to rate five stars.

It is a wonderful app for Bible reading and study. You can have multiple parts of the Bible open at one time. Review your highlighted text based on color, and more.

I 've tried a lot of these bible Apps, including some well-known ones but none quite measure up to this; it's got everything you could want...options for study, reading plans and commentaries, many free full-bible versions in multiple languages, split screen for comparing translations, good audio sound, excellent modern user-friendly interface & icons, highlighting, note taking, book marking, sharing, full search & good customisation and ALL available offline! Only glitch, won't play audio if screen closes.

I had this app on my Playbook and I have really missed this app since I got rid of the Playbook. It looks great on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, downloaded fast and setup was easy. I am so glad that you have been able to get this going! Thank you! BTW, if you are planning on getting this, just go ahead and get the full version, you won't be disappointed!

I agree with the need for verse selection. I am also a former playbook user & was disappointed this function was missing from the android version. I hope it makes a future update. Despite this issue, it is still a great app!

Easy to use... Parallel format, available Bible versions and tabbed reading all combine to make it superior to other apps. Highly recommended for all levels of readers.

I had this on the blackberry playbook and it was an outstanding bible app. Having now moved to android I was overjoyed to see this app available. It is inferior to the playbook app in one way in that I can't go to a verse directly as the selection only goes as far as selecting a chapter. Please add the functionality to go straight to a selected verse for 5 stars! Odd how the playbook version is better!

I just love this app, like some of you out there, I also had it on my blackberry playbook. It worked better on my playbook.

excellent app needs the setting for the margin. but other than that is perfect like I remember on the playbook

MUST be able to play audio when screen shuts off (or when flap is closed on tablet). Will give 5 stars once fixed.

Had this one on blackberry playbook, and im so happy to have it now in android please try it , it is worth every peny. To the developer, please change the menu icon set to more modern icons menu screen is a little too old thanks . Again great bible app

A super great app for Bible Study

This was the best bible reader I ever used while my Blackberry Playbook was alive. It has tabbed reading so that when Pastor goes from one end of the bible to the other, it's a simple matter of keeping the main location by tapping the open tab for it. It allows up to 5 open tabs, which is usually enough for a deep bible study.

I love this app. Having the ability to have 5 parts of the Bible open at one time is excellent. You also get a commentary in the note field. Well worth the price.

Loved the Playbook one. Seems every bit as good

I first started using this app on my BlackBerry Playbook I was thrilled when it became available for Android devices. A couple of my favorite features are the parallel feature and having 5 tabs available to have 5 different passages open. It makes jumping between passages so easy. Thanks for a terrific Bible app

Finally! I bought it on my playbook and waited for it on Android. Well done! Scrolling text is not quite smooth. Hope it can be fixed with next update.
