Control menu pretty feeble, it allows setpoint change and turn schedule off. If you want to turn it back on you have to go to the Configure menu, hmm. The Info menu gives good info on your usage and sensor readings. The bad category includes no schedule access, or mode change if in schedule mode. And worse is login issues on some devices (as noted by others) that tech support hasn't solved yet. Responded quickly to my email but then did nothing more than I had already done to fix, and didn't fix.

It keeps going offline on my app on my android phone. Which means that I can't set temperature from my app. if I'm away, or even right in my living room! I've reset it several times and still can't get it to go back online. Anyone else have this problem?

Not working at all. App is not sending the command to thermostat. It says the changes i have made cannot be sent to thermostat m please fix. Its worthless

When using Celsius, the temperature can't be adjusted below 35 degrees regardless of heating mode, which renders the app completely useless for making temperature changes.

Once you set schedule, it doesn't let you modify it or turn it off

Good but would be great if interface was more like the skyport website. Also needs a widget.

Works well like the text capabilities

Great app I've had it 2 year's now and working great. Had one small problem where I would open app worked fine then next time I couldn't do nothing. Figured out it was running in background had to shut it down and it would work again. Had an update and it was fixed.

Works, but not nearly detailed enough. Should have the ability to adjust everything you can set from the Thermostat itself, or from the web browser. Why can I not adjust my schedule from the app?

The only reason this app gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because it worked great... back when it USED to work! Over a month ago I noticed I could no longer log-in through the app on my Android phone. It tells me that the user/password info I entered is not correct. However, when I log-in through my laptop everything is fine. Now my wife is saying the app is doing the same thing on her iPhone. Please fix this... this is very frustrating!

Needs more setting capability, like what is available at wall box. For instance, changing humidity set point, setting fan behavior, etc. If more of those features are added, then I give it 5 stars. There is no other product on the market that provides humidity control and wi-fi capability, along with reliable control capabilities and other bonus features.

Way too slow. It takes at least 20 seconds to move from one screen to the next. And why can't you set the schedule from the app?!? Thinking of going to the Nest.

Have been using this app ever since I installed the thermostat about 5 years ago and has flawlessly functioned and allowed me to control and view all aspects of the thermostat that I needed using a Samsung S4.

App freezes quite a bit, and not talking about temps

App works well so. However, there's no option to change weather forecast settings in degrees Celsius. My thermostat settings allow this option.

Works perfectly for me! User interface is easy to use and attractive. Also, the weather feature works. Just login to the desktop website, and click settings icon in the right side. Then input your zip code and bingo, it'll immediately display on your phone, etc.

The Venstar thermostat was purchased for WiFi usage, but no where did it state internet access was required. Next failure: the in-app functionality does not respond to the back button, leaving the config. bubble open, but navigating you back to the main window in the background...causing config. to hang open until force close. The weather fails to display. App. features are extremely limited. Too much personal information, like street address, is requested on Skyport setup. Temp. mod. does not start unit...

All works perfec. To use weather must add one more time my location online. Just use my laptop go online to my account and add your location one more time. .

I can't log in. I can't type I my user name..only the password. Please fix.

Really? It is a nice app, and very convenient! However, it's been a month, and the weather section is still unavailable for my location? San Diego? It's not like I live in Seedro Wooley! Or some place nobody's ever heard of before... Fix the weather section and I'll change my 3 stars to 5 Stars!

Works great so far. have a feeling some ppl here didnt buy the WiFi key for remote access is why its not connecting. Gave 4 stars because I agree with some of you. Needs more settings on the app and should be able to download pics without removing the wifi key. I can send my thermostat text messages but not pics???? Strange if you ask me. Keep up the good work developers. Its almost there. Thank you.

This app is pretty useless. It's stuck in the past with both its iOS 1-6 UI, and its lack of functionality. You're better off making a shortcut on your homescreen to the website to edit schedules, see detailed runtime stats, etc. Even then it's a compromise because it's not mobile optimized, but at least you get full access.

The only thing showing up me and my husband on our phones is the local weather. We have no ability to control or even see our home thermostat. Pretty pointless at this time.

The local weather part has never worked (guess LA isnt big enough?), but at least the app worked. Then it stopped letting me log in, rejecting my password despite never changing it. Same for my wifes phone. Can log in to the website fine, but apparently the thermostat has dropped off the account. All around terrible.

Can't turn my schedule off or on, or even adjust the temp after the last update. Thanks guys.

Has to be cleared from memory and restarted on my phone, Note2.

The app gives a 505 error and won't install on Nexus 4. Update: Fixed!

I love this app and use it ALL the time!!! Soooo convenient!!! Figured out how to get weather update/info in app... Log in to your account on a computer abd set up your location for current weather. Back to 5
