TrailMapps: Squamish for Android
Works flawlessly since the re-write. Trail list up to date and map moves and tracks smoothly.
Slow on the Galaxy to update when scrolling or zooming. It could really use a scale or some sort of trail length info. Also it'd be nice to click on a trail to get a brief description. For $10 i think a paper version is better value since all this app amounts to is a .pdf of the squamish trail map that crashes periodically.
Trail map is fantastic! I did notice that Credit Line is marked single black in the app but the sign nailed at the top of the trail is double-black.
Nice little app. Looking for update to include newest trails. Already updated on my buddies iPhone
Great app and works offline. But needs an update. Newer trails like Tinder are not there. Please update as the paper version has the newer trails.
The app/map is great. Unfortunately with the latest Cyanogen update (1+ One phone), the app tanked, and when trying to reinstall, an "-505" error occurs. The Whistler map works still however... Sadness!
This Trailmapps app kept my relationship with my family intact! My first time to Squamish happened to coincide with my cousin's wedding. Thanks to the fast, intuitive design of the app, it allowed me to piece together an epic ride, on the fly, and still make it to the wedding on time! :)
App not even close to up to date. Can get fresh maps at the shops that show current trails. Last time this app was updated says 2014. Glad I spent the $10, not. This app should update as maps do. Don't buy till this happens.
Great app. Much better the other maps. Worth paying for. The 10/10 would bike again.
Hey guys, I haven't used this app in a while, but kinda gave up on it some time ago cause the GPS was totally off. It was then on my previous Nexus 5 Android and still is on my Motorola. Strava works fine and Google maps GPS. Just not your app. Any idea?
Awesome app
Simple and easy ! Love it, great work.
Awesome app. Works great on the trail.
Same problem that many other people are reporting - all of my Trailmapps uninstalled during the Android 5 upgrade, and now won't reinstall - I just get error messages. Please fix! They were great apps and I used them regularly.
I really like this. Especially being able to click on a trail name on the map and get the description to pop up. If find he cover page a bit annoying though. I liked it better when opening the app took you straight to the map.
Same here. Love the app, but all my Trailmapps apps are gone since Android 5 update!
I love this app and use it regularly. My phone just updated to android 5 and now it doesn't work. Is there a compatibility issue? I'd love to get it back.
With the update that gives you info on the trails plus the ability to GPS your location on the map make this a most wicked app for me. I still bring but haven't had to use my paper map since I got this app.
too bad I can't even install the app on the bad android 5. fair enough, Daniel. I will wait for the fix. thanks
Kudos to the authors. The new updated version is superb. It looks like they have addressed all of the performance and stability issues with the Android version. Plus they have updated the map along with added useful features like the emergency 911 function complete with coordinates. Nice! I can now highly recommend this app for the Android users. Well worth the $. Good work guys!! :)
I wish I could get an app like this for every place I visit. My only complaint is that it is missing two significant trails that were added this year. Otherwise, a solid investment.
Bought this for my first weekend riding in Squamish. Great gps accuracy on a gs3 and really accurate trails for everything I rode.

Panning and zooming are slow but I wouldnt say unusably slow. The app still does what you need but for paying $10 I expect more. Some gps functiinality such as breadcrumbs and ride logging would be great. It also needs a few more steps to zoom in for those "busy" intersections. The place marker is quite large and blocks the view of where you should be turning. Adding a little funtionality and usability would make this a 5 star review.
I have been been using this for a couple months and found it really useful in finding new trails and knowing where I am. A little slow at times but works mostly fine on my Samsung g2. I just downloaded the sunshine coast one too. Those trails make so much more sense already!
Functionality this is an amazing app. Critical for any one riding Squamish. Is just not as smooth zooming and panning as the iPhone version.
