Via de gratis Texel-Plaza App wordt u op de hoogte gehouden van het eilandnieuws, de gemeentepolitiek, sport, cultuur en evenementen. Via 'Beleef Texel' is informatie over de dorpen en de daarin gevestigde bedrijven te raadplegen. Via 'Klik en win' maken gebruikers wekelijks kans op een diner voor twee. De 'Agenda' is een prima hulpmiddel om een dagje Texel van A tot Z te plannen. De App informeert u ook over het weer en getij.

Over de inhoud van de Texel-Plaza App:
- U kunt door de foto’s scrollen en ze bekijken op groot beeld door erop te klikken. Tekst en foto’s zijn op uw smartphone duidelijker te bekijken via de landscape-optie. Als u uw smartphone draait, verschijnt de tekst en/of foto op volledig scherm.
- De App biedt lezers de mogelijkheid de redactie een handje te helpen, door foto’s, video’s en/of nieuwstips in te sturen. Het nieuws wordt op werkdagen ververst; in het weekend is een weekoverzicht te zien.
- Via 'Beleef Texel' is het mogelijk te navigeren over Texel en via een druk op de knop contact op te nemen met bedrijven. Ondernemers kunnen een 'etalage' aanschaffen, die vanaf thuis te bewerken is. In de etalage geven zij ruchtbaarheid aan onder andere vacatures, acties en lastminutes.
- In de agenda zijn alle activiteiten op het eiland, indien gewenst gesorteerd op datum of categorie, te raadplegen.
- De navigatie is duidelijk en eenvoudig. De App beschikt bovendien over een zoekfunctie binnen het archief.
