TableTots Teacher for Android
I'm glad Spinlight keeps making new apps. They are my daughter's favorite! (Mine too because they are creative, fun and challenging enough to keep my almost three year old's attention!)
What a fantastic little app this is, I use it to set up questions for my five year old, and he uses it independently as a maths manipulative. I have one criticism/room for improvement: I would like to be able to choose where the items added to the table go. And like a previous reviewer said, it would be fantastic to be able to save tables. Can't give four and a half stars so five it is.
I love the concept of this app. It's beautifully designed and is adorable. However, I feel like there is room for a few needed improvements to be a 5 star app. First, you needed to be able to save your table top. It takes too much time to set a table up. Plus, for review it would be nice to switch from table to table easily without losing the attention span of the child. Along those lines, I'd love to see more instant scenes/groupings. I'd also love the ability to toggle between setting grouped objects down randomly or lined up neatly, or perhaps auto fit to the table format I've selected. A gallery of ideas would be nice too! A small something that irritates me is that when my drawer is closed, I can still see the tabs within the drawer, and I keep trying to clicking on them, though they are not able to open unless the drawer is open. Shouldn't closing the drawer hide those? Seems like it would look cleaner too. Wish list: I'd love a clock face, with hands I can change. I'd love to see long and short vowel items (a is for Apple, a is for acorn.) Tally sticks,unifix/linking cubes. Thanks! -a homeschool mom
