Sfax - Secure faxing on the go for Android
Didn't work when I tried to send my first two faxes (competitor worked flawlessly), tried cancelling my 14 day trial without luck and I see they have billed me one week into my 14 day "free trial". Avoid. There are better options.
I love S-Fax.
Must buy
I love S-Fax.
Needs option to select documents from phone or Dropbox to attach to the fax. Kind of worthless without that imo.
Does not work with pdf. Needs to convert a file to jpg before sending. Serious limitation as most businesses work with pdfs and office formats. Great viewer though but that's it.
Have only used desktop version just installed on tablet. After Charter "lost" my fax number and I had to get a new one I took the plunge and tried sfax. So far seems great. Ability to access fax from anywhere and HIPPA compliant what could be bad?
As of yet, I've only sent one fax. It was quick and easy install (required Adobe Air), and registration and cover page setup was simple (had to be done online). Toll-free customer support was easy to reach and easy to understand. I'd love to see the ability to crop/distort/markup scanned images like most of the other scanning apps out there. However, I liked that I got a toll-free fax number included with the service. The huge issue here is this: If my phone/tablet holds a copy of the scanned fax pages in the Gallery, this is neither secure nor HIPAA compliant --as advertised. Luckily there was a free trial, so I was able to figure this out before investing money in the service... now if I could only figure out how to cancel.
Simple, quick install on Samsung Galaxy 4S. Application mimics the web UI almost identically (presumably in large part to the Adobe Air prerequisite they both require) and makes accessing faxes securely on the go very convenient.
Works well on the s4 but not supported on the pure vanilla android nexus 7. Which is odd since a tablet is easier than a phone in terms of screen user interfaces. Wished they had gone with an html 5 interface instead of flash and all its security issues. Even adobe has stopped real flash support. Sfax is stellar in a desktop but their mobile apps need to get with the times. Either go real native or go html
Trash. Not up to date on standards.
You have to use a contact. It lets you input just a fax number but wont allow you to send the fax. but it wont let you create a contact in the app. Photo digitization is very poor.
Can't sign in with the Android app, Windows 8 app, or through the Webos app on my Touch pad. Access is only possible through a web browser. What's the point of releasing apps if they don't work? Costumer service via email is the same. The person offering assistance via email apparently can't read.
Quick and easy to use. Like that I can always get my faxes where ever I go. Would recommend the this app to others.

Very little utility to send faxes with app, most useful feature is to read past faxes. This app should use phone camera as a scanner and allow you to send faxes to new numbers, not just to contacts you have created in Web version. Disappointing.
