Ask NHS for Android
These guys have built the beginnings of something really great. A few teething problems but they are improvong it every day. This is an app worth sticking with.
Got fed up at the start creating my account.... Why the hell do I need 1 uppercase 1 number & the rest of the rubbish..... I want my password & that's it.
Good idea. But the virtual nurse is awful and unnecessary. Uninstalling.
Not any good as I want to do it but I can't as you have to be 18 years or older and I'm not.
Galaxy S7 has no issues with app. Login created without issue. Logged in fine and used aspects of app fine. In fact looks and responds really good. I really installed for the self care and diagnosis aspects which seemed fine. Well done devs.
This app is brillant! Allowed me to work out what on earth was wrong with me and helped me to sort it myself! Thanks!
Useless app, takes loads of personal details and then doesn't work. Help links don't work! Steer well clear! It gives the impression that it is NHS approved, but smacks of a con!
Good ideas and useful info but user interface problem: grabs the whole screen and no way out...
It wont let me log in, it says im trying to log in with a clinical account. Im definetly not..
Only binary gender options. GP service advertised it to me but haven't set up booking which is what I need due to disabilities!
Can use as you have to be 18 yrs or older
This is a useful app. Surprised at how Olivia responds. Looking forward to see where it goes.
Wont let you check symptoms for your kids
Its an excellent additional resource for helping people using 111 services. Its a nice interface and it does the job. Found the map services useful as well.
Great idea on paper, very poorly executed. Complete disregard for Android design guidelines, and has a frustratingly slow interface and experience that tries to imitate iOS, but fails. The avatar fell down the uncanny valley for me I'm afraid, but even cutting-edge research isn't there yet, so what hopes have you for a commercial product? After 10 minutes of use trying to re-diagnose an eye issue I had last month—it feels like I'm talking to the ELIZA chatbot from the 1960s crossed with a multiple choice expert system from the 1980s, just sexed-up with Android's built-in text↔speech. You've seen what can be done with Siri & Alexa & Google Now: Sensely is nowhere close. Very disappointing from a Valley company. You've got a good idea (except the avatar: fire forthwith whomever who thought that was a good idea), but please hire better engineers & designers rather than charlatans: $11.78M of VC capital is shurely sufficient. Also, how much did the NHS fork out for this?
A very good app, it took a while to load but when it got started it was fine. 5*
Wont let you use it without registering first
Great idea it works well but needs more work 5 stars for effort
Looks promising!
This app really helps with my job as a carer
Seems interesting
Fantastic app simple to use for anyone
Some constructive criticism here for the symptoms checker. Like the idea but it needs some ironing out. First, don't just give people a voice option from the start and make everyone else wait to input via choices. Give both choices from the get go to speed up the process. Also, please allow people to go all the way back through the process, not just back one step. There also seems to be options missing, for instance I wanted to look up about infections in the nose and that was not an option at all that I could find. Hope this helps.
Requires too many permissions. Registration process is long and doesn't make sense. It couldn't find user on the NHS spine? What? I didn't know I was registering in a hospital, I just want to use the app to check symptoms. Uninstalled. Ain't no body got time for that
What a joke.Couldnt find me in NHS spine??? You can't even register so what I thought could help me stop ringing nhs and checking on app my health condition has failed miserably. Please can you try to sort it out. Uninstalling now.Upset.
It's ok, asks a load of questions then told me to call 111 which I guess I could have done in first place. Lost a star because the avatar is bit bit freaky. And lost a star for telling me to call and I already had and the message said download app so I did then have to call anyway, hoped for out of hours but referred to A&E and queue massive so will try again.
Asked a simple question and the response was completely inaccurate. Could be very misleading
Why on earth does the app need to access my files and contacts? Location and call I can understand
Can't fine my spine or something... Lol... Doesn't let me register.
Couldnt even register without some code? Where on earth do i get this code from? Waste of time.
I can't get past "turn off overwriting" or words to that affect. It seems I have to do that for every other app installed. I will give up.
It just says can't find bus user when I'm trying to create an account
Really poor app. Questions asked are too vague.
Says you dont live in west midlands...it doesn't recognise all Birmingham codes
It's checks for the user in the DB when we create a new user.
Couldn't even register. It said -"user not found in this NHS spine" ???
Doesn't work
App gives addresses for different area when asked for pharmacies or GPs etc.
This is their first attempt at an AI solution for diagnostics. Hopefully they can improve it, but we need to use it to give them feedback on what needs to be improved. The more people we have using this app the more money they will invest in it.

I have tried this app on three different tablets and had problems on each one. On the ASUS S 8.0 and the Shield K1 once I opened the app I could not exit, other than resetting the tablet. On the Google Nexus 7 the app told me that the tablet is not compatible with the app. All tablets are fully up to date regarding software.
