View and notate faxes anywhere. Sfax is the only cloud fax service designed for the rigors of healthcare and other industries that demand business-critical services. Sfax viewer allows you to view, make notes, delete and move your documents securely.
We initially built the Sfax app to support the launch of our Sfax v3 product back in 2013. Truthfully, it has not received love and care it deserves and we have grown as a company since that time. In line with the new Sfax branding, we decided to redesign and rebuild the app from the ground up starting with this Sfax Viewer. This new version has improved viewer quality and the pinch and zoom functionality.
The viewer also allows notes to be attached to documents, which will appear in an audit trail for increased HIPAA compliance. In order to maintain this compliance, users will not be able to download files to your device. Instead you are getting a new UI with improved performance, stability and security. More updates will be added in the coming months with plans to add forward, reply and send functionality soon.

A good start but a long way to go. 1. The user interface is slicker and A WHOLE lot easier to navigate from a phone. 2. The app is well organized, you know where everything is located. Tools and options are located top right. 3. Right now it's nothing more than a viewer. You can't really do anything till you get to a desktop computer. The good news is that you don't have to call an admin to get flash installed to get into your faxes as I've found you can get view your faxes and even reply. Now the bad parts (which need work) 1. Security-putting a pin lock on the app is just as secure as a username and password (and safer for mobile users) 2. They are still in love w/ adobe air/adobe (which brings it's own brand of spam filled games that users can install for malware). Once in a while you will get a notification to install a game-if you didn't know, that was from adobe air (turn off notifications for the app but you then have an app running in the background w/ knowing what it is doing). 3. Cannot send or receive pdfs. 4. Email notifications instead of the app notifying us of a new fax. Great start but I can't wait for the final product!

Although the new app runs and looks smoother, removing features such as download and compose aren't helpful in improving this app. I'd like to see a compose feature that either scans documents effectively or utilizes a high quality scanning app such as CamScan. I'm disappointed by the downgrade and inability to continue using to old version.

Although the features are still limited, the program is a big improvement over the previous Sfax program; for me it suffers from small font menus on my Galaxy Note 4, but the view of the faxes themselves is good. The name of the app is appropriate, as one cannot compose new faxes yet, but as the clear instructions show, one can manage existing faxes easily.

2017..still no improvement. Was going to give the benefit of the doubt in 2015 but at this point I'd give up. Get ios if you like them or find another provider.
