Rosetta Stone: Learn to Speak & Read New Languages

Used this app before and I loved it, even bought lifetime. But I ended up not continuing to learn my chosen language. After a while I decided to continue from where I left off but I no longer have access to my lifetime premium, emailed customer services and still yet to recieve a reply about possibly getting it back. Other than that, good app.

The app is amazing! Learning with this app is great fun and yields quick results. It's worth every penny. Purchasing it in Play Store was a bit of an odyssey though. I purchased Rosetta Stone Unlimited for Lifetime and did not get immediate access. I purchased it using another email address than the email address I used in Google Play Store (which wasn't pointed out as a problem anywhere during the process). However, when I made an account with the email that I used in Google Play Store, the content was still locked. After talking to the support for hours, I woke up to a subscription the next day. I think they gave me an online subscription. The described problem is a bug with the Android app however.

Got this app to learn arabic. It is my husband's first language and I would like to be proficient when we have kids so they can learn both as well. It's great so far! I have always heard great things about Rosetta Stone and it's very evident why. It's worth every penny. My only complaint for this app thus far is that it forces the display sideways and I prefer to display things vertically. Otherwise I love it. Thanks!

I put off getting RS for some time because I didn't want to spend money, but I am so glad I did. This is so much FUN!!! I used to have to force myself to study Spanish, but now I look forward to every minute of it. I do a lot more because it is so much fun. I highly recommend it.

I am a fast learner anyway. I learned other languages on you tube and at the library, it was extremely dificult getting intobit because it rushed onto tones of vocabulary. I llloovvveee how this breaks it dow... I will reach my goal of 10 lanugages before i hit 30 with this app. And it is soooo convenient to be able to use this anywhere i get a littlevfree time

This is NOT a free app as it claims to be. It is a huge download that then only allows you to do one tiny sample until you spend a LOT of money. My problem with the app is the dishonesty. It should not pretend to be a free app. It should title itself as a sample and then not make you download so much for just a little sample.

Easy to use. Would go 5 stars if didn't have the occasional battle for the mic to register my voice. Could be the phones problem. Who knows. Great app none the less. Would recommend if your interested in another language.

I am kind of a word nerd but even so I never knew I could pick up on a new language so quickly! I've only been using it for a day so there a lot I haven't seen of it yet, but I'm enjoying it very much.

I feel like the only person that doesn't learn this way. Flashing cards and saying words that I haven't been told what they mean does not make sense to me and after trying several times, I'm not learning the language.

I like the app and it's helping my learn Arabic. However, my Arabic friends from different countries all agree that the Arabic I'm learning isn't very well known. So now with each lesson I have to learn the words, then learn from my friends the proper words and pronunciations.

It helps me a bit, but I can't remember any of it the next day. Other than that it's great! ^_^????????????

I do like the flashing picture style of learning.im still on lesson one so I hope that the learning to write the Japanese characters come when you are ready to unlock the remaining lessons..I like that I can take my time..do have the occasions when I get the sounding words incorrectly even though I said it correctly ..then I have to slow it down ,so it registers correctly

It's actually fun so far. Kinda like a game. They have grammar practice, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Uses repetition. Very easy to navigate, thank you for that.

Love it! The best language learning app I've tried so far. It has multiple voices so you can learn to hear the accent better, and the practice where you try pronouncing and it listens is very helpful to learn the speech. It's better for me than taking a class. It's like having your own personal teacher, at your own convenience!

Thorough, more thorough than Duolingo, which makes you sound from 1702. Memrise glitches out on me too. This is reliable

It's ok but don't make it free if u need to pay for anything useful if the first part is free make the whole thing free don't make someone pay for it if it's a free download

Good app all together, but I need to sign in to my company account every time I start the app, really frustrating. Why not put a remember checkbox?

Works well but is sometimes a guessing game if you are brand new to the language. Gotta learn to be ok with getting the wrong answers.

This app is so helpful I feel like I've learnt more using this in the last 3, days then the last 3 years of me trying to learn French .

I've tried about five or six different programs for learning Korean, starting with Rosetta Stone software on my laptop. Solve each of them were good in their own ways, I realized that Rosetta Stones content really seems to stick for me more than others.

The app is amazing within the first lesson my brain was starting to associate the word with their meanings.

Still new with everything but seems great so far. Will definitely update my review once I have had more time!

On top of unclear prices which turned out to be very high you will be flooded with spam. I already uninstalled and received 5 emails in 12 hours.

Ok so here's the thing with this,just because I am a online distant learner.yes this app it's great but it could have lighting up the words while speaking out and also a "worded sound like" words underneath it.

The reason to why I rated this app to, five stars is because I love how I'm learning how to speak Spanish while just looking at images that convey meanings that you, can say in Spanish and this really helps me to learn an understand better.

This is the easiest way to learn and practice Italian! If I'm on the go and I only have a few minutes I can just whip out my phone and play. It's so fun and engaging I have a hard time stopping.

Great app for learning how to speak a foreign language because it eases you into speaking. Before you know it you feel comfortable pronouncing sounds, words and phrases that were uknown fifteen minutes before. Love it!

It's amazing an so accurate. I have friends who's native tongue is Spanish. They know exactly what I'm saying.

I love the app great app I would give it a 5 star if it had given me the things I'm saying definition or translate them so I would've known it in both languages but all in all great app love it

Future. Like 4 hours in and I'm looking at things and saying their names in Spanish. This stuff rules!!

I'm very disappointed. First, you represent it as a "free", which is not true. Second, I finished the whole first lesson and one part of the second lesson (the only free parts) and there's no explanation for anything.. Just practicing a lot but without any explanation - a simple explanation could save all this time of practicing card again and again, and actually you need to understand alone the meaning of the pictures (for example in German there's no any explanation about "der, die, das, sie, er, Sie", and the user should understand alone that "die" us also féminin and plural, the verbs etc) So in compare to the other application that I use to learn German, this one is not effective especially when it comes to grammar, which is very hard in German and sometimes impossible to understand without explanation. One more thing, the fact that I must use the microphone is also a bit problematic... If I want to learn during my work hours I can't because I have to keep silent, so even if I use headphones to hear and practice, I can't skip the microphone. The price is also extremely high (and I use 6 more apps to learn German and paid for all of them but not so much) and from my experience of one lesson I don't think it worth it.. It was nice to try.. I'm using this app to supplement my university course. It's been a lifesaver. Provides lots of good speaking and listening practice.

Quite good and interactive but it could start with learning some everyday useful phrases sooner instead of focusing on words i probably wouldn't use on a daily basis.

I'm under the age of 15 and I am Hispanic but I only speak English, and for the first few lessons I've had, I say it's the best app for learning a second language.

Doesn't just tell you the words but also breaks down pronounciation as well as correlates words with images.

Been thinking about signing up for a long time. Glad I did.

Just gettingb so right now it's really just a review of what I already know. Have to get deeper into the course before I know how useful it is overall
