Interactive train schedule for the Caltrain system in California, USA.
Easy one page navigation allows you to select the "From" and "To" stations, allowing to quickly see train times. Selecting just the "From" station provides quick view of next northbound and southbound train times.
Note this application requires Adobe® AIR®.
Caltrain Times also includes include:
- Support English, Chinese, and Spanish.
- Find nearest station with GPS integration.
- Get alerts from @caltrain and @bikecar twitter accounts for trains included in your selection.
- Full schedule details with fare amounts.
- Supports showing times for routes that require a transfer.
- Select between weekend and weekday, app knows which day it is by default.
- Reverse selected stations by clicking North/South icon.
- Shows changes to train times for Holidays.

For example, it's missing train 254, the weekday 2:37 departure from SF. If the schedule isn't complete, the app is worthless.

Very helpful for those who are new to using the Caltrian. I would like for it to display a route map and also give the address/directions to the different stations.

The design is more at home on Android than Caltrain Droid, but it's missing some trains from the schedule, the UI is sluggish sometimes, and it takes too long to get the info you want. The missing trains is critical though. Fix the missing trains and it's a 4 star app.

This has some good ideas, but it's slow to open and takes longer than it should to select too and from stations. For a regular commuter, it's a toss up whether it's better than paper. I've been comparing it with Caltrain Droid for a month. Caltrain Droid let's me get to the info I want faster.

This one is impossible to use & you need to download additional software! Are you freaking kidding me. Brightness needs to be all the way up to even see the times because the colors are so dark. You can forget zooming in to see the tiny text too. I'd like to give it negative 5 stars if it was an option. BEST OF ALL IT THAT THE SCHEDULE IS WRONG. DON'T BOTHER!!!!
