Planner Pads Organizer App for Android
I have used the paper planner version for years gave this one a year. Glitch prone then and now.
I'm not gonna pay fifty bucks to see if I like it. Thought this was a free version. Would be nice to have a way to try without purchase or subscribing or giving personal info. Deleting it.
Requires Adobe Air. Removed.
Subscribed thinking it had promise, but never got better. Better off using a spreadsheet and your preferred calendar.
Once i got it to work properly on android i love the app
No calendar android sync. Site lists 100 questions or complaints to every answer. Absolutely no solutions given to users questions or complaints
Not amazed-- I really like the concept, and see how effective it can be. However, still very limited interface for the annual fee. It lags, creates double appts when synced. Still on my trial period, may cancel.
AVOID. Gcal sync broken, multiple copies of events every single day (annual events in July showing up every day in Feb!!), try to delete them & 2 extra copies of same event show up in its place. It's a Hydra! Also beware the money back guarantee, you have to call a 'toll free' number in the US - I'm in the UK!! You also can't control when you get reminders - I got reminder today to pick up my son. For an event in 10 days' time. No way to tell it WHEN to remind me. As others have said, tech support was NOT helpful, read multiple reports of similar issues to what I've described here, all faithfully replied to but no actual solutions offered. Smells like a money scam. Very disappointed & angry.
Not as efficient or effective as I thought it would be, wish I could stay logged in and as well a widget. I get why it won't update with your regular calenders, so with a widget for androids would be neat.
What is on my Google calendar is not transferring over. Once that works, 5 stars!
I've always loved Planner Pad and was really happy they've come up with an online version. Pros: Having unlimited space for "to do" lists so you can keep running total of the 1,001 daily things to do. It it's pretty user friendly and easy to manipulate. It also syncs well between devices, although I haven't tried it on tablet yet. Cons: The phone version is a little difficult to use and doesn't have as many features as the computer. If they can make it a little more mobile friendly I would probably get 5 stars from me. If you've never used Planner Pad this is a really great organizational tool. If you tend to leave date books at home or in the office, (like me) this is a great alternative to an awesome paper-based system. Enjoy!
I love planner pad hard copy ! It's the best ! I think the digital app. Price is too high but I do agree that it should be charged annually because that's how we purchase hard copies. I will do the app when the price is more reasonable . Still the best in the industry.
It seems to be extremely sluggish for entry or menu selection on the Note5. It seems like it might be based on the fact this is running on Adobe air which honestly I wish it was not but if that does not kill battery and if it was not sluggish it would not bother me. Not sure why the developers decided to do this app using Adobe air, it is not a bad thing it was just different for me to have to install another program to make this app work. Maybe I am just old school but that was new for me on Android.
As an adult with ADD, I tried many different types of tools to keep me on task without success until I ran across the planner pad system. I have both the paper version and the electronic version, I swear by this product so much that I buy it for all of the people who work for me.
The rating I give is not because of the Planner Pad system. I have been using their paper calendars for years in combination with Google Calendar. So, when I saw that they had gone mobile, I got excited to fully transition all my planning to mobile devices. However, I came to discover several issues: First, the app is not compatible with Samsung Galaxy S6, which completely removes the value I was hoping for to work across several devices. It would mean I can only use the subscription on my laptop. (strike one) Second, when I used my laptop, it was clunky, failed to sync information and continuously logged me out. I just didn't see the value that it was supposed to create. (strike two) Third, the subscription only allows one Google Calendar account to sync, even though I use two Gmail accounts, one personal and one business. (strike three. yer out!) The roll-out of this app seems prematurely launched (maybe to capture business before the new year) and under-supported. They were kind enough to refunded my subscription. I am excited for their leap from paper only, to mobile, and hope to make the transition when they have it all worked out.

Invest your money elsewhere. A paper planner company tried to go digital and is failing miserably. Can't believe how hard it would be to make a good planner.
