Palm-Tech Inspection Software

I see nothing positive with V. 8. How do I revert to 7 on my mobile devices?

Works as advertised. Very stable. Very flexible. Excellent tech support. We've been using it for 12 years. Would like to know when the next update is. Haven't heard much from Palm-Tech technical people lately.

Our company had done a great deal of research, trying to find a program that is both user friendly for our inspectors and provides our clients with a very well organized and professional looking report. After sampling numerous software programs we felt confident that Palm-tech would be the best fit for our needs. We have now been utilizing the software for several months and are extremely happy with the product. Palm-Tech, the software and the support has been outstanding. Thanks to the Palm-Tech team!

This app does not support having portrait oriented images. This should have been fixed a long time ago. The app is sluggish, even after recent updates. It lags, but also is slow to navigate because of the lack of drop down menus. It doesn't even capitalize the first word of a sentence. Delete line buttons are right beside add picture buttons. The app often freezes or glitches so that you get a white screen. Sometimes have to reboot phone to get the app to again. Support does not respond with fixes!

Why not just add that little bit of info right up front? I don't want a demo

I am not impressed with the software. Its sluggish, lags, freezes. The UI needs some serious work. Why in the world do I have to tap/hold in order to select? Missed your section, continue holding and wait for it to come back around. If you don't want to use the tap and hold method you can double click and use the "drop down" menus, but even that is terrible and not user friendly. Why can't I just have everything on one screen with drop down menus? For instance I click on lots and ground, double click driveway to get to the drop down portion and I have to have a dedicated screen for driveway, hit next (wait a second), walks hit next (wait a second), steps hit next. On the screen where are these items on listed vertically there should be drop down menus for A,NP,NI, etc and te box portion should have a drop. Tap and hold or double tap to select is not user friendly and adds time to an inspection.

The Palm-Tech software has increased my ability to deliver reports to next day from 2 days.

This program is by far the easiest to use and navigate of all the systems I demoed.

This software is so easy to use and it's detail is appreciated by all my clients. As with any product or software it is only as good as the people that support it. Palm-Tech's support people are excellent and easy to work with. I would recommend this software to any Home Inspector.

Good & nice app...

I thought Palm-Tech had a good app when they first released it. It has only gotten better since. The new interface is smooth and easy to use. It works great with the stylus on my Galaxy Note 2. I personally think that this is the best home inspection software out there. One thing that I didn't want to leave out is their support. It's great to know that if I call when I have problem, a person answers the phone on the other end. They even responded to me on a Sunday via their Facebook page. Great job guys!

I had some trouble in the begining and the next update repaired them. I can not say enough good things to thank the work that has been performed to make Palm Tech the best software you can buy. The company works to help you with any problems you have and it is at no charge. How can you beat that! Thank You! From Larry in St. Louis. New updates in 2014 just continue to improve the quality of the software.

I'm so glad i updated to the version 6. This app saves me at least 2 hours per inspection in report writing time. I can't believe it took me so long to upgrade. Thanks Palm-Tech

Really good software however bugs with the system leave me rating it a 3. I have a RAZR maxx and when taking photos with the program it takes doubles every time eating up both memory and my time as I have to go back and manually delete 20-50 photos for each inspection. They say my phone is an exception however I find that highly annoying as this phone should be at the top for user hardware interface as it is the industry leading phone when it comes to battery life which when you do several inspections

A new update, Yay! And thankfully it contains many of the items we have be asking for. I just upgraded my rating. I only hope that Palm Tech focuses on smaller, more frequent updates that address some of the other issues. I really like using the new app on my Samsung Galaxy S3, can't wait until some more of the Pocket PC functionality is ported over.

Unfortunately I'm not so sure Palmtech had the kinks worked out for Android apps when my company purchased this, so we has a rough start. But after all the false starts this is truly an awesome program! Don't know what we'd do if we had to go back to the 'old way of doing home inspections!

I have been using Palm Tech software for 7 years. This software is incredible and so is the staff. The ability to use it on my phone now makes my life much more manageable. SLOW

I have been using version 6 since I started Show Me Home Inspections, I tryed several softwares but Palmtech was the easiest for me to set up as my own template, I have it on,my toughbook, my ipaq, iphone and my galaxy tab 7.0, I recommend it to all of the new inspectors that I have trained in the Phoenix AZ area. I spent months reviewing all Home Inspection software and ONLY PalmTech let's you use its software on Android AND Windows PCs WHILE ALSO not charging you a monthly fee. You can start your inspection on your phone or tablet and then go home and finish it on your laptop if you want (you dont have to. You can do it all on the phone if you'd like)...an FYI, I used to use InspectIt. Its crap software but its the cheapest and so I dont blame anyone starting out, for using it.

This is a great program. I don't know how I ever did without it!!

Whoever was paid to program this needs to fired. For string data to load this slow on my sgs5 is ridiculous. There's great potential here it just a shame it's wasted.

It works very well still needs a little tweaking but very productive.
