Downloaded a couple of apps designed by Nxtbook for different publications, they all crash and freeze constantly, makes the publications look bad

Can't log in

Everything about this app is slow and terrible. I think the server must be in Antarctica or the middle of the Sahara, because my old IBM 286 loaded pictures faster over a 2400 baud modem. Refuses to login to my magazine, even though the credentials work on the Web. Finally, tapping on the letters in the main list is impossible! They're like 4 pixels tall, so you have to suffer scrolling, and hope it doesn't recognize your swipe as a click.

Same inability to log in as others state. Interface is clunky and the magazine I am looking for no longer shows up in the "all" list nor the 20 issues I have downloaded. Terrible experience. AND the latest update is not signed correctly so it fails to install!

Need to login to my account to read a magazine I am subscribed to and there is no option to login, even though the help menu says you can. Worthless app if I cannot login.

I have a subscription for a magazine that uses this company for its digital issues, which I access on my pc trough my browser, but it's not even listed through the app. The search function never works and just trying to navigate through the interface is painful! Uninstalled!

I see I'm not alone in having login issues.

Seems more like a very early alpha release than a "premier" digital magazine app. Hopefully they will finish this app someday. Until then just stick to PDF exports from the web app, I guess.

As others have mentioned login works on the website but not with this app.

There is no logon button in this app, so I can't access any of my subscriptions. It's a shame the developer won't fix this uninstalling now.

Can not get to magazine I installed this for. How do you add new magazines?

I can log into my magazine through the website but NOT on my tablet, which is pretty useless since I am trying to download my magazine so I can read it on the road. What a waste.

My initial impression was not good, but for some reason it just seemed to have a taken a bit of time, and now things are working great!

Keeps giving an error message when I try to log in.

I subscribe to Sky & Telescope which uses Nxtbook. Not able to log in at all. Pointless app. Needs to be fixed big time.

Just because they host a magazine, doesn't mean the publication will be available through the app. Disappointing, as I subscribed specifically because I thought I could read it on my tablet. Seems that I can't even open the webpage right now. Not amused. If they help resolve this, then I'll modify my rating & review to reflect it.

Guess they fixed all the bugs! Very easy to use. Nice interface.

I can login to a magazine I subscribe to on nextbook's website. I am unable to login and view it with this app.

Gives you a ton of options but if you don't know a specific name it's cumbersome. Multiple crashes 4.0.4

Can't log in

I've got subscriptions to magazines that are implemented with Nxt (one of the mags even has a demo issue in the Nxtbook app), yet apparently I can't read those magazines through the app.

This app is slow, difficult to navigate, and does not update with new editions of magazines it actually carries. In need of a serious update.

Can we have Mountain Bike Action on here now seeing as they use your front end? I have a sub and your app doesn't show it. Surely would be a great way to get more subscribers and more money!

You cannot login... It's buggy, some demo? Magazines don't work... Right now it is useless. -Samsung galaxy tab 10.1

Downloading magazines using wi-fi takes forever, much longer then directly downloading the same pdf magazine and the zoom is not enough to read normal text.

Quite a few magazines aren't up to date. The icon shows the most recent magazine on newsstands but they are not there. Food Business News for instance hasn't had a new edition since June 2011 but the icon shows this months edition. Please update and fix!

I subscribe to several magazines that make use of the nxtbook frontend so when I was quite disappointed as I cannot read them with this app

I downloaded because I tough that could download my magazines to the tablet, doesn't work like this, my magazines doesn't appears on the list of the app, so useless for me
