National Gallery Lite Edition for Android
Lovely app guide with very interesting and entertaining art descriptions
As a frequent visitor to the NG this app offers added info and trivia plus the luxury of having a virtual visit a few taps away. No performance issues. Full marks to the dev. ONE SUGGESTION: would it be possible to add a "Favourite" section so that my favourite paintings in the gallery are easily accessible?
Before upgrading to full version, I would like to know if there is audio guide at all?
I paid for the full version but got nothing extra. Using Google Cast and my phone, the app will never display in landscape mode, so you cannot appreciate details on your tv. The Louvre app does it all vastly better for free. This app disgraces a great art collection. As usual, Britain is at least 20 years out of date, and does not care. Good thing you got kicked out of Europe.

Came in handy for our museum visit. Particularly loved the descriptions.
Very stingy free version.
Enjoyed reading the descriptions
Installed this yesterday & seems pretty good. Not all artworks are on yet but more will be added to take it up to about 400. Good customer service too when I emailed them.
Can I not access 3/4 of this app, attempt to upgrade, informed inelegable...could not find any info. here stating that this app is strictly for UK full time residents only. Am I missing something? Is there an option to download all photos once only?
Amazing app

Have bought this apps. Two positive things: inexpensive and provide incomplete but rather reasonable limited time tours. You can not add your own favourites to tour or build it from them by your self. Many 1st line works from the list of 30 must see from the cite are absent in the lists including Leonardo and Caravaggio.
