AmmoSeek - Ammo Search Engine

A great resource to compare pricing and availability of products other shopping site won't touch. Weapons and ammo. It appears to include all of the sources, and doesn't promote one over another. It is not a shopping cart app so no one should expect it to calculate shipping costs.

Excellent resource, always check here first when planning an ammo buy. As others have said, it would be nice to see the shipping cost on the app before jumping to the sites. Also opens a bit slow, but not too inconvenient especially with the savings available.

Like the app. Only complaint is it doesnt allow my home button to display so im forced to click on thier advertisment banner to exit the app. Either this phone sucks or thats a clever way of generating false traffic for thier advertisments.

Works great, use it on desktop and Samsung S5. Author responsive and app keeps getting better. Send author suggestions! 10/19/16 app after update wouldnt open on Samsung S5. Contacted Ammoseek, issue resolved in a few minutes. Awesome! Update:finding more features, building custom searches that are saved, much more powerful app than the others.

I love ammo seek on my computer. I use it ALL the time. I downloaded this app to my android tablet and it is the most horrible thing I have ever tried. Where they placed the advertising is the exact same place I have to touch to pull up my navigation buttons. So every time I try to pull up my navigation buttons to go back or close the app it opens my browser to whatever ad is shown. Which means I cannot go back to redo a search or close the app because I can never get to my navigation buttons. I finally had to uninstall it just to close the app. The advertising location HAS TO BE MOVED to fix this problem. I understand the need to advertise but the location makes this app totally unusable and worthless.

Great app. I use it everyday to find out if there are any flash sales on .357 Sig and 10mm. Can't tell you how much money I've been able to save.

Not too bad but room for improvement. Including the shipping cost would definitely earn that 5th star. Once running it's quick to search. I only used it for ammo so I don't know about the other searches.

It's Decent, The online version shows a lot more results. Does not show shipping cost either but it a good starting point.

This app is a must have for anyone who shops at cabelas or bass pro. "Is that deal in the store really a good one?" This app will tell you in seconds. Regular use will find you some really sweet deals on ammo. I recently got 200 rounds of 9mm for 19 bucks! (4-23-17)

I love having this as a mobile app. My only quibble is that my saved searches aren't shared between this and the web site, but I get that it's not an easy thing to do.

Pretty well made app, but the shipping really makes or breaks the deal most of the time. Pretty unsavory design though

Very good app has saved me hundreds of dollars. You can narrow your searches to specifics down to even the shipping cost. I recommend this app to people all the time.

Awesome way to find all ammo prices. Clunky at times and banner ad at bottom of screen is not ideal for a phone screen. Great otherwise

Doesn't feel as user friendly as wikiarms. Also wikiarms has some 6.5 Grendel at $0.27 when the cheapest ammo seek can find is $0.57. I just don't really see why I would use this instead of wikiarms which is faster, more user friendly, and has better prices.

Problems and (1) fix: 1. Paid for ad removal, but ads still there. Tried rebooting the phone, then uninstalling and reinstalling - had to reboot phone after second installation and ads are gone. 2. Need to add an EXIT button on the main screen of the app, or modify so app does not hide phone navigation buttons (LG G4 and LG-930 Tablet). I have no way to exit the app quickly, cleanly - now that the ads are gone, I have to hit the hard button on the back of my phone to cut off the screen - then I hit the button again and when the screen comes back up I have access to the phone's navigation buttons. 3. Ammo Seek says my saved searches on my computer will not transfer to my phone - they say they're working on it. 4. No sound on any buttons in app - a little feedback would be nice. I originally gave this app 1 star, but now that I've removed the ads I'm upping it to 3 stars. If they fix the navigation / exit problem on my LG phone & tablet, I'll up it to 4 stars. If they update the app where it will automatically bring up my saved searches on my computer, I'll up it to 5 stars.

Crashes too much. Does fine then wackos out just because. Good when works too bad it's not often.

Excellent app. I've been using the site for years and just like the site, the app cuts thru the flashy gimmicks, bells and whistles to give you maximum results and therefore maximum savings.

Love the app, just wish there was a way to select the type of bullet, like, hollow point, full metal jacket, etc....you already have a brand selector, projectile type would be great!!!

Nice app, not all of the deals out there, but a good starting point. Little slow to load, but once open, the searches are quick and handy.

This app would be better if I could put multiple terms in the include/exclude search boxes. For instance, if I wanted to search for .223 ammo to include 55g and federal. Or to search a gun to include marlin, bolt action, stainless steel. I hope that makes sense. Otherwise I love the app.

Only used it a couple of times, but... I like it! On the plus side; Fast, simple, easy to use, comprehensive. To improve; Wish shipping (or lack thereof) was included in the price per round computation.

Not only the best deals, but the vendors are responsive and attentive. Just because inexpensive doesn't mean low customer service

I love this app it takes the time out of finding the best deals on reloading supplies ,bullets , firearms even magazines . Never gives me ant problem thus us a solid app for any shooter .

This app is extremely easy to use. I shoot a lot. And this app helps me save a lot of money. But you do have to be careful and make sure to check for rebates and sales. All around a decent app . I'm very happy with it

Best and most convenient way to get ammo. I don't get it any other way for my 9mm, .223/5.56, or 300 BLK.

Not sure if I saved more by not having the app! Saved a boat of time searching!

Great app with relatively accurate prices! Updates quickly and with embedded links. Great way to shop around for ammo! User interface is good but will surely get better as they grow!

It's a little cumbersome to look for specific ammunition types using the search features

Pretty great app. Finds great deals on expensive ammo that cut back several dollars.

There is tons of room for improvement. So far it is a pretty easy app to navigate around. Would definitely recommend this app to anyone else looking for the best bamg for their buck!

Overall I like the app. It works pretty well. I would like to see it add optics into a search. But it does what it says it will do, and that's find guns and ammo.

Seems to have fairly up to date info. Buyer simply has to be aware of stock status and therefore expected shipping date.

This app is one of the better ones for searching multiple websites but it could still use some improvements.

Great way to track pricing in the ammo market. Really comes in handy when you purchase in bulk and have a reasonable time horizon to place an order to maximize savings.
