Gun Search Client for Armslist for Android
The back button doesn't work throughout the application. There are a lot of times when it freezes up. The pictures are badly distorted and often its not possible to scroll through pictures even if it says there are several pictures posted. Still, it helps me view the armslist website in a compact way.
I use it ... but not haply... if a competitor comes out I will definitely be switching.... this only allows 2 locations and is SOOOO SLOW ... the UI of choosing categories and filtering is horrible because you have to push the screen like 30 times and it's like half cut off the screen and I have s7edge so it's not my phone
I have had this app for a few years now and has not been updated in any way. Definitely needs some work to make this app easier to find what your looking for
The update is worse than before, don't download update!
Great app. Worth every penny when trying to find the perfect sale or trade. Thank you.
Not bad
Good idea but very clunky. Phones back button doesn't work so you have fish aroud where on the screen the exit, finish, close button is. Only allows you to choose 2 cities at a time. Verry slow lots of time spent watching the spinning wheel. Pictures stuck in landscape mode but to to advance to the next pic you have to swipe in portrait mode...very clunky the list goes on for $2.00 I would assume a little more time would have been spent as freeware collecting end user input....8/21/2016 NO CHANGE
Not a very smooth app, loose your place if you close it. searching can be kinda difficult, and managing my for sale add was a pain
Needs more filters and some kinks worked out... like keeping you place when you exit. But not terrible!
Not to bad, but generally ok, for free app that does what no other app does. I also try to remember this app is the last of its kind and I am thankful for it!
Ok... could run smoother and offer the option to search more than 2 cities at once.
Good app & filters work. Much better than Armslist website.
Great way to buy trade and sale in your local area
It serves purpose
Works well and easy to communicate to people with
Scrolling is choppy and if you switch to another app you'll lose your place, but it's better than the new website design.
It is a little sluggish, also wish I could filter by caliber.
A little sluggish in the scrolling but works as intended.
Great app for armslist highly recommend it.
Still needs a lot of work.. but can find what your looking for
Apps a little slow using droid turbo 2 with marshmallow.
I like it.
need updates, a bit slow
Yes
A little different than I'm used to,,,slow loading on galaxy s6 edge. Other then that, excellent search engine
It won't work correctly, no pictures or links show up.
App still does not work on my Turbo after the first and second updates
The app needs alot of work. Freezes 8/10 times when searching, can only have 2 cities selected when I normally search through 5 different cities, when I search keywords it will say no listings found yet I go to the actual website and it pulls up 10-15 listings with the same keyword. Would really like my money back for this one. I can't use it at all.
Does not always work. Have to close out app and then go back in. Other than that it's good.
App works great and has awesome selections in most places just needs bigger variety only pops 77 on me
The app has several problems. The back button doesn't work. It takes forever to load results. Now it won't open so I am reinstalling. Maybe I'll just uninstall and use the website. Edit to add: only being able to select two cities is a major negative. I am within an hour of four so I have to change settings and search twice.
I was expecting a bit more from this app. The filter options and search settings I was hoping to at least mirror what the website offers. Looks like a very rough draft beta testing version. Don't waste your money. Just go on the website which is amazing by the way.
3 is low for me and I want to rate it at 2 because, 1. I feel that you can zoom in or broaden your search. On that note when you select the category you want to look for, it gives you a blank white screen instead of selections. 2 when you finde something you are interested in you have to go to the website full of ads, viruses and who knows what else. If you want more feed back feel free to contact me you have my info.
A little easier to get in than using the website from a phone, but it won't let you back away our site off with your phone's controls.
Go to the website and at the end of the day you will be much happier. Using a 12" tablet - I thought the app - a paid app I might add - would be well worth it. No. It is slow. It freezes. It does not allow for a horizontal view on a tablet - just vertical, which is a pain in the rear if your tablet is sitting on a keyboard. The search methods are also week. I can only search by firearm type. I cannot look at all the 'firearms' available in say atlanta. I have to pick either Rifle or Pistol or Shotgun. It is a pain - and until those changes are complete - I will not be using it.
Runs well and gives easy access to posts. I do wish that it would get an update and be more fluid and intuitive. It needs to be cleaned up a bit as it is not very easy to navigate in parts such as when looking at full pictures of the products. Also, when trying to back out of the full sized pictures. For the most part it is very nice.
Great for finding local used guns for sale. Image scroll feature could be better. But still a good app!
Awesome site
Great app

The Android back button doesn't work in this app. You're forced to use in-app close and back buttons. There are very few filter options for your searches. It's still easier than a mobile web browser, but it would be great if this app was more comparable to the Craigslist pro search app. All images expand to a 90 degree orientation. Before expanded, all pictures are stretched to fit in their square thumbnails, so most are deformed and out of aspect ratio until you expand them. I have high hopes for further development.
