IBC2016 for Android
I downloaded and installed the App this morning. When I first fired it up, it didn't work very well and crashed hard. Exited the App and restarted it, and seems to work fine, at least for exhibitor search and floor maps. Did not try to log in, though.
The last few days I've been walking around on the IBC in Amsterdam and I've tried to use your app as well as I could. However, it was a horrible experience. I'm curious whether the app has been tested in a real-world scenario, my best guess is that it hasn't. When walking around on a conference exhibition, you want quick access to certain kinds of information and the mapyourshow app isn't tailored to do so. Some 'highlights': - The app takes ages to load - The first page of the app is always 'Welcome', so I always have to summon the menu and go to another page for info - The Myshow Planner page is refreshed at every load. This means that the page is always shown at the top (not at the last position, which would be useful if I want to complete a visiting list of exhibitors) and sorting is always reset to a-z. - The Food & Drinks part is unbelievable. It doesn't help anyone to get food or drinks. Just have a look, no further explanation needed.
No effort put in to this. Keeps wanting me to login for no given reason. Paper plan much easier to use. Don't bother
When you try it didn't work, it doesn't mean is bad... This is the best app ever...
So many errors. Don't bother.
This app doesn't let me log in.. i tryed to log in at the IBC website and it worked fine..
Who thought this design was a good idea? The only thing it is good for is a laugh
worst ever. crashs all the time :(

A nice idea, but a native app should be a little more than a buggier version of the website. To improve: Have the whole show as a single map, rather than chopping it into sections, and actually use the native window manager. At the moment, your app gets beaten for ease of use by the paper map torn at the folds and shuffled through randomly until I find what I'm after.
