L-Lingo Learn Thai for Android
Very good application for learning Thai. If you are a beginner then this is a great place to start. However, I wish there were more lessons I could buy, some pictures are a bit ambiguous, there are a few errors in the lessons, and there are definitely features that should be added (such as alphabet lessons or an ability to practice selected chapters as flashcards), but overall a solid 4 stars.
A Native Thai speaker tells me that people don't actually talk like this.
After completing the first few lessons I really enjoyed this app. So I decided to buy the extra three stages Inc. 100+ lessons. At a cost of £14.99. Very impressed :)
I really like the app , it really help me to easily understand thai however I don't like the fact that there is buying of lesson stages.
I wanna free Thai
Great app
Top app
I started with new lesson where words where not previously discussed so that's the little minus. There could be more different pictures and sentences combinations in one lesson. Other than that, it's been excellent. I bought additional lessons and not regretting it.
Now they want to sell another app named lingo pro. I won't buy. I dislike this money making behavior.....
Way of learning so much easier and interesting with pictures, lots of practice given, i love it. Makes learning so much fun!
Good ap
it is a great app and i can learn some thai letters through words. i want to use it on my computer also but in order to use it on the computer, i need to pay again. why don't you syncronize the tablet with the computer. with one username and password i should be able to use it on any electronic device. if your lessons content on computer is different that on the tablet then i can understand why i should pay for the desktop version also. regards.
I reached level 21 and so far it's funny and efficient. Really appreciate this app, it's cheap for the content it offers.
This is the best app. Each lesson provides clear explanation & a lot of exercise practice to ensure that we learn the lesson clearly before going to the next one. Choosing this app is the best choice for learning Thai.
I paid for the full version, and now when I installed the update, I should have at least 65 lessons available for training, that it's not the case, I now only have 5 lessons to practice with... Very odd way to do business... No words need to be spoken about you, you as a company have spoken by acting.
The user interface is illogical, and badly designed. By lesson 2 I was doing the test and blank questions started popping up...so it's buggy too. And the lessons assume you can read Thai script already, before you even learn basic vocabulary.
Too many words are included in the exercises without previously being defined. Otherwise it would be 5 star.
Paid for full version which is actually very good, then done an update and they want me to pay again!!! and have lost all the old lessons I have paid for!!!! Dont get scammed by these people...there are plenty of other good apps for learning languages.
What a scam, pay again for the same lessons already paid for. Total scam.
I paid a lot for the app in the first place, then I'm told to pay the same again for some lessons that I suggest were intentionally omitted from the original app. A big shame because the app is quite good. Can't believe the company would try to scam more out of those who already paid for the full app.
Simple and efficient!
Paid for the full app. Update comes along and you want another £7.99 for a handful of extra lessons? No thanks.
I paid for the L-lingo Thai app before the recent upgrade and was shocked to see the price for the upgrade is the same as the cost of the full app. This effectively makes your long-standing customers have to pay double if they want the full app. 1 star until you rectify this and price the upgrade more appropriately.
Cannot open the free lessons using a Nexus 7
I'm currently in thailand without a computer (and hence, no rosetta stone). I installed this app on my phone and have been using it to practice my thai whenever I have downtime. I've been pretty much using words from each lesson immediately in my day-to-day interactions.
Trojan detected by Avast: Android:OpFake-FE [Trj] Hope the uploader has the authorisation from Rosetta Stone! Could not find anything in the description. As far I know is R.S. software copyright. Could be a legal problem for all who downloaded this?
Good app...it yeach me oily th too.
Definitely installing the paid version.
recommend
Lousy paid version. Paid version says it needs 50 mb free and even though I have 300 mb free it says insufficient space. Samsung galaxy s 4g.
Great but really needs a landscape/rotation option for use on tablets.
I wish it remembered what lessons I have completed. This is still the best app I've ever used for learning Thai. Just bought paid version.
This is the only software for learning Thai I have tried on Android where you can actually learn something. I do not like all the other "travel phrasebooks". This here is quite useful to have on your phone and there is lots of content available.
Have been also learning Thai letters with another product which is definitely a bonus when using this app. This L-Lingo uses a similar rosetta stone method, which builds on previous lessons.
I love this app. thanks
Great little app. Ive learnt and memorized so much from this! (:
The user interface is illogical, and badly designed. By lesson 2 I was doing the test and blank questions started popping up...so it's buggy too. And the lessons assume you can read Thai script already, before you even learn basic vocabulary.
Good app...it yeach me oily th too.

Because Duolingo still didn't add the Thai language I was searching for an alternative app. I tried many apps till I found this one. The design is outdated and the app itself didn't get an updated since Apr 20, 2016. But it works great, after 3 (free) lessons I bought the full package (all stages) for € 19,99. Before you start with a lesson you get a short grammer explanation, this is very helpful. I'm very satisfied!
