L-Lingo Learn Tagalog for Android
Great quality pictures, familiar yet challenging. . . like a mobile rosette stone program for hundreds less. Pair this app with a real speaking partner and you be fluent in no time.
It's a good app. It provides a nice way to hear the pronunciation of Tagalog words by native speakers.
Hope for a new vision

I purchased this app back in 10/02/14 and now I have a new phone and your making purchase it again . What's the problem? Can you guys refund me my money since I already purchased it in the past ?
I use Pimsleur Tagalog, Rosseta Stone and this app so I can learn at any time on the go. I also watch a lot of Tagalog movies and Tagalog music. Plus online friends, so this is great addition to fully immerse yourself. I also paid for the full version, I think the price is worth it. Thanks!
There are no words to study, all you get is to hear sentences
I'm learning
Easy to follow and fun! Love the fact that I can study at home and away since it is also installed on my phone at no additional charge. Melanie at L-Lingo Support was a great help and responded very quickly to help me with a problem. Thanks Melanie and L-Lingo.
Fabulous app, i have learnt a lot from it. Some lessons have mistakes tho lesson 54 for example. The wording says ako ay taga philpinas yet the person speaking says something different and the answer is I'm from malaysia. Hence i had 29 out of 30 haha also on that same lesson the wording and what is being spoken is different throughout.
When learning a language you need it to be accurate. Please fix words which dont match the audio. One example is lesson 11 the word "come" is wrong.
If only all stages were free
It is a little awkward sounding. They also say that once I get to the Philippines, I will be understood and can quickly pick up on the informal and slang Tagalog quickly and easily.
Needs more grammer. Lesson 2 is a little confusing, I think they are mistakes and could be better spoken out. Other than that, it seems like a good app.
Its great for helping with expanding your vocabulary. I hope to see more speaking exercises included.
The concept is good. The Tagalog is perfect and very formal ... just nobody talks like this in the Philippines
App works great
learn tagalog today for travel
more words will be preferred to deside to purchase ..love it
You can do only 5 lessons for free, then you have to pay $20 to the rest of the lessons. The first five lessons only teach a little tagalog.

Theres only 5 free lessons, it should have more to decide if you actually want to buy it
A good concept but has some mistakes and some words one can argue about. E.g. lesson two "ang batang lalaki at tumatalon" the speaker sais "...tumalon". Car is translated as sasakyan which is correct if you use it general as a vehicle. But in the same lesson you distinguish between lorry an bus which are also vehicles (mga sasakyan). The common word for a private car is kotse. Lesson 4, for the same picture "bata" is used and also "sanggol". In lesson 5, Still not sure yet if I shall buy all the lessons.
i bought already lessons until 70.. time i was my old mobile . now i got a new one galaxy s5 & i am trying to download the lessons but its giving me check your entrnet & i can't get it my enternet is working exelent..

I bought this a month ago and it was amazing, the app, the vocabulary everything was fine. But three weeks ago I got a new phone and for some reason when I logged onto the Google play store and download my paid for apps this one wants me to purchase it again. Why all my other apps downloaded just fine not expecting me to pay again. And on top of tht I sent an email no reply from these crooks. Taking app off my phone and won't be reinstalling unless they give me what I've paid for but I don't see tht happeni

This is a great program. It works great for me. I have learned more since buying this than I did in 6 years of marriage to my Filipino wife. Also, it accurate. My wife confirmed the words and grammer are correct. Too many programs are using old language, like Google translate.

Would give it 5 starts, but the audio and pictures aren't working all of a sudden.
Way cheaper than Rosetta or pimsleur. Good if you just want to memorize 400 common Tagalog words. Bad for grammar. Also bad for pronunciation. Some incorrect spellings or audio makes this app feel cheap or sloppy. But if you are dedicated to learning vocabulary then it's worth the price.
Saalamat po, but i just have a problem the audio keeps dosappearing in the middle of the lessons and i cant hear anything at all its like there no audio
Really good, can't believe how fast I'm learning. Although I have a question, in the app, i unlocked all the lessons (i paid) does this mean I have all the same lessons that are in the pro version? And if i install this app on another device will i have all lessons?
If it was %33 of this price , it might be bought. But this price is too much.
There is not even a basics on letters, alphabet, or letter sounds. I do know there are several letters missing compared to the English alphabet but beyond that I do not know nor did I learn it from this app.
I'm only on the first couple lessons but it seems amazing. I will definitely be buying the full version when I get there.
This made Tagalog very easy to understand and pick up!

Love it, it really helps

Difficult to see how anyone could learn any useful Tagalog from this app, if the free lessons are representative. Repeating 4 new words in the same format but in random order is NOT learning a language.
