The Learning method is the best thing about this app aside from multiple romanji misspellings. Due to the misspendings this app is best for someone with a basic understanding of Japanese. They also really could have done better with the majority of the images. A guy with a ball under his shirt is "fat." And the training image is a life raft with a star wand? What The Heck? Doesn't really feel like a $14 app. You might be disappointed. BTW fire your artist!
Works like rosetta stone for a fraction of the cost. There are a few misspellings, but overall this is a pretty solid app. I really like that it has a training mode. I hope more lessons will get addded.
It's alright. Like some people have said, it doesn't feel like a $15 app. Romaji are spelled wrong, phrases they teach you don't even match in the quiz, it's a mess. This thing really needs to be updated and improved.
My boys and I are having fun and learning japanese with this AP when we are sitting in the car waiting at after school events. In addition, my Japanese friend who also heard this AP had nothing bad to say about it.
Thoughts not as feature rich as PC apps like rosetta stone, it's still quite a good app for beginners, and basic practice. I see no point in the buying the same app twice. I installed the phone version on my tablet.
There are way to many misspelled words in this app. I can't believe I spent money on the full version!
Multimedia method puts everything together. Listening, reading, kanji, romaji, sentences, and quizzing. Also download a dictionary (like Aedict) and kana quizzer. Note- If advanced and see any mistakes, contact author. Negatives- 1) It needs MORE LESSONS, as not so many words per lesson 2) Will sometimes introduce new words without defining them 3) No word search function
