OnCue Plus

The OnCue software on my PC works great but this app for my Tablet will not connect after more than a dozen tries. When I try to add my generator to the app, it consistently tells me there may be a serial number problem (this is verified as correct and is the same SN as I use on my PC for OnCue) or that it is not connecting to the Kohler Server.

Let's me know what is going on with my generator and utility feed at all times. Great app.

Generator status offline over and over. Firmware updates fix it for a month or so and then same result. Come on Kohler. The app isn't the problem it's the software on your controllers!!

Ever since the last update it has not work. I call my kohler rep to chk the latest firmware on my gen and he said everything is up to date. Need assistance on what to do next. Thank you

Great for remotely monitoring generator. The only issue I've had is that I can't change the scheduled day and time of the "exercise" function. I can change all other settings from the app, but that one can only be changed in the generator itself.

Love that if I have a power outage the generator let's me know. Also like the new updates now that Kohler has all the bugs out.

They have fixed some of the annoying aspects of the app. Now it remembers the log in and password on my Samsung Galaxy and also opens up the app when I tap on the notification. Now if I could only set the time to Daylight Savings Time!

Error -505 on a Nexus 6p running Android N (beta). It's been nearly a month. Come on.

Everytime my ISP updates my IP address, the OnCue Plus service thinks my genset is disconnected. To correct it, I have to go outside and physically open up my genset and reset the controller (usually by disconnecting the battery). Not very convenient, particularly if you are away from home when this happens. Come on, Kohler, put a heartbeat in your controller firmware to allow your server to resolve the genset's public IP address. I could code it myself.

Excellent app. No issues just works.

Kohler Power Systems

Just upgraded to this application from the PC based software. Initial set up on Kohler ' server took a bit of time, but after it was set up it worked nicely on my Samsung phone. Very easy to see what is happening at home when you are away. Nicely done!

Undependable. Connectivity of device is irregular at best. Kohler gives "big brother" useless e-mails without corrective follow-up actions. Resetting is a royal pain and lasts for a day to a week then stops functioning. Apparently IP address needs to be static versus dynamic but no real information available. If you have this system Good Luck, because you will need it.

The app is fine, but connectivity with the wireless access point is unreliable. Tried setting a static IP, worked for two days then stopped.

It doesn't work.

Not compatible with "On Cue" makes this an undesirable addition for Kohler generator control.

Able to login with laptop but not this app

We sell OnCue Plus to our customers that want to keep a check on their home, while they are away. It's easy to start up and is nearly flawless.

Ok its been cold, but.... Unit wouldn't run & reported a dead short. Kohler claims version 6.5 firmware upgrade will resolve. No such luck, won't run now due to low oil pressure. Also in error. Only 6.3 available on web site. This is a generator controller issue, not just a remote access software issue. If you need the power, stay close to home to manually reset the unit. I'm told the ATS will work if locally reset. Show your family how.

This app works great. I like being able to show new costumers the features before they invest in a standby generator.

Can not reset password when generator password is changed. Have to use PC to update password at kohler.

Great generator. Wish Kohler would allocate more resources to build a better OnCue Plus website. App doesn't let you save the password. So whatever password you make, you're also stuck with as there is no option to change it. So if I want to check status from the phone, I literally have to write down a 128-bit 32char password. Oh, the fun entering it.

Love the new design and the mobile app support. This app has tons of potential. But it lacks a few features that were present in the old desktop apps and still missing features that the old app needed. 1. Missing oil temperature. 2. Missing voltage readings between utility, generator, house feed. 3. Still no ability to switch to generator power. Just exercise abilities. 4. Old app stops working after firmware upgrade. 5. Yearly $20 fee. Though wouldn't mind it if the above are fixed. 6. Can't change act pw
