DM Minion for 4th Edition

The only frustration I have is that if abilities have a lot of text for effects I can't read all of it in the tiny window provided. It already swipes side to side for multiple effects which works great but if it also scrolled up and down I would definitely give 5 stars

Doesn't scale on my tablet so can't edit monsters (button appears to be off screen) but looks good and should be helpful.

I used this for a long time and it always helped me keep track of things. Intuitive easy to use interface, great functionality and a decent look make this app top notch.

Been looking for a while for a decent DM tool to use with my campaign and this fit the bill perfectly. After trying out a few this one integrates with DnDinsider the smoothest, Dropbox is stable and reliable. The customisation options and the ability to manually create as well as pull from the DnD database is simply magnificent. 1010 would buy again.

Been using this for a couple years now and it is far superior to any other app out there. Worth the price

Customized for 4th Edition in special ways, this is a great DM tool. Tracks initiative, effects (even labels a creature "bloodied" when appropriate). Imports from character generator. Has a database of 4e monsters. I have minor UI quibbles, but practicing once or twice before a game makes it easy to use and understand.

Love it. Easy to set up, easy to use. Only down side is it does not import player stats. I only wish I had used it sooner.

Does pretty much everything I was looking for, using it on a n2a Nook HD +

I will give it 5 stars due commitment from the developer. My tablet a Ideatab A2 9" wasnt supporte at the begining due Adobe Air issues, we went trough a lot of troubleshooting without being able to find solution. They offered the refound as we could not solve the issue, I declined on good will, now after 2 months of that they have fixed the issue, and everything works fine. Thi app is fast peaced easy going and very linear, it help you to keep good track of combats and events on your history. Even keep a ace encounter on y our sleeve. I recomend the free version first if you like it buy it inmediatelly its plain great.

I am disappointed that this app won't work properly on my Galaxy SII. The dice roller number pad is obscured by the conditions button, rendering it all but useless. I understand this app was likely designed for tablets, but a heads-up regarding that would have been nice before I spent the money on it.

I mostly use Masterplan for adventure planning and combat tracking, but this is great as a backup when I only have my tablet.

Other than a few graphical anomalies, works great. It certainly keeps combat moving. And in the notes section, you can write in all your narrative and each enciunter can also have its own notes to help you remember monster strategies.

This is really solid for running encounters, but I have a couple of suggestions. Mainly, it would be great to see monster powers and descriptions at a glance without having to tap through each one. Even just including the full list of powers with descriptions in the stat block would be a huge help. Also, I've noticed that when monsters have secondary movement speeds (such as flying or burrowing) they don't show up in the stat block. I've had to look those numbers up in the books during combat, which kind of defeats the purpose. Otherwise, great app!

Simple but nice layout. Handy encounter tool. Vast database of monsters. This has a majority of a dm's toolbox in one app.

Love it so far but still learning some things by trial and error

Desperately needs a direct sync option with DDI. The Dropbox interface is nice, but very steppy, and still ultimately requires the use of a PC to play translator. Combat isn't very intuitive for a similar reason - multiple steps to accomplish simple actions - but the action list is very helpful. I still prefer Combat Assistant for its speed, but DM Minion is looking better all the time. I'm looking forward to seeing real time integration with Player Minion.

Initiative, damage, and state tracking made simple. Decent monster db, missing the magazine monsters, but solid otherwise

I have no idea how I would be able to run combat without this app.
