Una aplicación para ampliar las capacidades financieras de personas de bajos ingresos y mejorar su calidad de vida.

La aplicación “Colombia LISTA” para tabletas digitales de Fundación Capital es la primera de su tipo en el mundo. Fue desarrollada para llevar educación financiera a los hogares de millones de mujeres de bajos recursos en zonas rurales, de modo que puedan aprender sobre presupuesto y ahorro por medio de una tableta digital que comparten en su comunidad.

Esta versión “Demo” de la aplicación “Colombia LISTA” ofrece una muestra resumida de la aplicación original, que fue diseñada por la Fundación Capital en 2012 con el apoyo de sus socios gubernamentales, financieros y privados y con el auspicio de la Fundación Citi, la Fundación Ford y el Fondo Internacional de Desarrollo Agrícola. “Colombia LISTA” fue desarrollada por Imaginamos y este demo fue preparado por Bytelf.

En el año 2012, la Fundación Capital probó la aplicación en diez municipios rurales de Colombia usando su metodología de “educación financiera liberada.” En menos de tres meses, se llevó educación financiera a más de 1.200 personas. Se capacitaron no solo las mujeres receptoras de transferencias del gobierno, también sus familias. Ellos dicen que la tableta es como tener la profesora en las manos. La aplicación ofrece la oportunidad de que las personas puedan repetir los contenidos que no tengan claro; y así educarse a su propio ritmo, a la hora que mejor les convenga y sin tener gastos de desplazamiento altos.

La aplicación está compuesta por tres módulos:
(1) ABC del Ahorro: El módulo informativo, enfocado en la capacitación financiera, busca generar conocimiento y habilidades financieras.
(2) Calculadora del Ahorro: El módulo de práctica, donde se pueden hacer cálculos sobre ahorro, deuda y gasto.
(3) Tu Cajero Automático: Un simulador que enseña cómo funciona el cajero, permite practicar retiros y así aumentar la confianza en su uso.

LISTA es una iniciativa diseñada para aumentar las capacidades financieras de personas de bajos ingresos, con el fin de que reconozcan en el ahorro el primer paso para salir de la pobreza.
